NA Localization:
The tragedy was that Iseult was in fact the woman King Mark swore to love and welcomed as his bride.
Eventually, due to the admonition of King Mark's courtiers who envied Tristan, he was forced to leave the royal court.
Later, Tristan married someone who coincidentally shared the same name as Iseult. However, Tristan's feelings for the other Iseult only grew stronger.
Fan Translation:
The tragedy probably lied, in the fact that Iseult was the woman who King Mark loved and vowed to marry.
Before long, thanks to the admonition of King Mark's courtiers who envied Tristan, he was forced to leave the royal court.
Afterwards, he came to marry a woman who had the same name of Iseult by coincidence, but still his feelings for the past Iseult only grew stronger.

NA Localization:
One day, Tristan fell to poison in a certain battle, and near death, he sought to see Iseult one more time.
"If she is coming, raise a white sail. If she is not, a black sail..."
As Tristan waited for the ship carrying Iseult, his wife Iseult whispered to him.
"A ship with a black sail is headed this way."
With this small treason - this lie - against her husband who never tried to love her despite their marriage, the curtains closed on the tale of Tristan.
Fan Translation:
Eventually, Tristan collapsed due to being poisoned in a certain battle and, on the verge of death, wished to meet with Iseult.
"A white sail if she comes. A black sail if she does not--"
Upon seeing the boat carrying Iseult, Tristan's wife Iseult whispered the following.
"A boat with black sails is coming this way"
The tale of Tristan was put to an end by means of a modest treachery (lie) towards a husband who, despite taking a wife, never tried to love her.

|
NA Localization:
King Arthur was a respectable king, impartial and sincere, so much so that there remained no room for human emotion to get in the way.
Seeing the king's endless self-denial in continuing to lead and fight for Camelot was heartbreaking. That it was so honorable, so righteous, only made it all the more tragic.
Tristan's psyche could no longer stand such human suffering. His parting words when he left the Round Table became a curse on many of his fellows, and unbeknownst to him, even upon the king:
"Our king does not understand the human heart."
Fan Translation:
King Arthur was a fine king. Fair, sincere, to the point that his emotions did not crawl in the way of his judgment.
The figure of a king who had killed himself and continued to fight, it was too painful.
It was painful because it was just, it was sorrowful because it was just.
Tristan had no spirit to endure it any longer.
He spouted unexpected words when leaving the Knights of the Round Table.
To all of his brethren—and to the king a curse he gave without him noticing it.
Sorrowfully, he muttered.
"The king does not understand the human heart."
