景虎は数多くの刀剣を所持していたが、中でも八華の備えと名付けた八振りの宝剣宝槍を好んで振るったという。中でも銘の伝わらぬ宝槍をとりわけ頼みとしていた。セイバー、ライダー適性を持つ景虎がランサーとして召喚された一因でもある。
