It's probably a better symbol than the square and compass we used. But then, don't you think I'm on the right track, wearing glasses? I look intelligent, and unnaturally seeing through the world would make me seem devilish too. They're commonly depicted in religious paintings, but I can't believe they're interpreted as heretical. Uhuh, I see. Eyes of wisdom that see through all things in creation, was it? It might be more preferable symbol than a ruler or compass. In that case, aren't glasses on the right track? It is intellectual and has its devilish aspect where it goes against nature to see through the world. I'm quite familiar with religious paintings yet I'm treated as a heretic; don't you think that's strange?
