Unlock Description Translation🛈
Default 北欧異聞帯ロストベルトに由来するサーヴァント。

NA Localization: A Servant, originally from the Scandinavian Lostbelt, who is completely separate from the Scáthach of Proper Human History. She is recognized as a god only in the Lostbelt, and her aspect as a queen is emphasized.

Scáthach-Skadi manifests many characteristics of Skadi, the Norse giantess and goddess of the mountains who shares an origin with the Celtic warrior Scáthach. Rather than seeing her as a version of Scáthach in whom aspects of Skadi are prominent, it may be more correct to say that she is Skadi who possesses certain of Scáthach's attributes.

Fan Translation: A Servant originating from the Scandinavian Lostbelt.
A "completely different person" compared to the Scáthach from the common history of man, recognized as a god only in the Lostbelt, whose nature is closer to being a queen.

The Nordic Jötun who originated from the Celtic hero Scáthach, the mountain goddess───many of Skaði's (Su-ka-ji) characteristics are revealed.
This side of Skaði should rather be expressed as "the Skaði with some of Scáthach's nature" than dark Scáthach.

Bond 1 身長/体重:162cm・50kg

属性:混沌・善 性別:女性

NA Localization: Height/Weight: 162cm, 50kg
Origin: Norse Mythology, Celtic Mythology
Region: Europe
Alignment: Chaotic-Good
Gender: Female
The "chaotic" part of her alignment is something she herself claims. Apparently, she was dedicated to the social order of the Scandinavian Lostbelt, but this changed after she was summoned as a Heroic Spirit following her death.

Fan Translation: Height/Weight: 162cm・50kg
Source: Norse Mythology, Celtic Mythology
Region: Europe
Alignment: Chaotic・Good
Gender: Female
Her "Chaotic" alignment is self-proclaimed. When she ruled over the Scandinavian Lostbelt, her original purpose was for social order, but it is now different when she was reborn as a Heroic Spirit, or so it is said.

Bond 2 今回の現界では、勇士を育てる師としての顔が一切存在していない。武芸の達人では、ない。

NA Localization: In this manifestation, she has no interest in serving as a mentor to heroes. She also has no mastery of any martial arts. Unlike Lancer Scáthach, who was proud yet friendly, Scáthach-Skadi is prone to more callous statements, like: "Did I step on something?", "Ah, a tiny thing (humans)," and "Shall I love it? Or shall I kill it?". These serve to characterize her divine nature.

A mere sigh can create a blizzard. Living things seldom survive.

A smile can bring about eternal spring. Living things thrive and exult.

She sees little difference in either outcome.

Fan Translation: In this current world, she does not have the face of a mentor capable of raising a warrior. She is not a master of martial arts, either.
Unlike the Lancer Scáthach who was more approachable, "Did I step on something", "Oh, what a young one (human)", and "Should I welcome you, or should I kill you" are just what makes up the properties of nature (gods).
───Blow a breath.
Be like a blizzard. And living beings will die.
Be like the eternal spring. And life will sprout gorgeously.

Both, are equivalent to her.

NA Localization: The name Skadi means "one who harms" in Old Norse. According to the Poetic Edda's Grímnismál, she is the daughter of the abominable giant, Þjazi, and lived in the ancient mansion Þrymheimr with her father.
She is later married to Norse gods, so she is also called "the shining bride of the gods."

Skadi also goes by the name of Öndurguð (ski god) or Öndurdís (ski goddess). She was considered a master huntress of the mountains and an expert skiier.

Fan Translation: Skaði's (Su-ka-ji) name derives from Old Norse and means "one who scars". According to Prose Edda's "Sayings of Grímnir", she was the daughter of "the Abominable Jötun Þjazi", and lived in the old palace in Realm of Þrymheimr along with her father.
After being married to the Nordic Gods, she was named "the Beautiful Bride of the Gods".

Skaði is also called Öndurguð (Ski God) as well as Öndurdís (Ski Goddess). She was a master of hunting in the mountains and was also told to be a master of skiing.

Bond 4 本作におけるスカサハとスカディは完全なイコールの存在ではないが、互いに影響を与え合い、「混じり合った」という解釈を取る。

NA Localization: In FGO, Scáthach and Skadi are not completely the same. Rather, they influence each other, and are in many senses intertwined. The fact that Lancer Scáthach has inherited Odin's Primordial Rune is likely a consequence of this mix (syncretism).

According to the Heimskringla, the Old Norse kings' saga, Skadi divorced her first husband Njörðr, the sea god, and married Odin.
This version of Skadi, though, is unmarried. However, she must still be similar enough to the figure of legend to draw so much attention and be remembered by future generations. Probably...

The Scáthach-Skadi in the Lostbelt is much more Skadi than she is Scáthach, and that is why she embodies more of the aspects of the bride of the gods.

Fan Translation: In this work, Scáthach and Skaði are not perfectly equal in existences, but they mutually influence each other and the term "mixed up" is used.
Scáthach, as a Lancer, was bequeathed the original runes owned by the great god Odin. In a sense, it could be seen as mixing (learning).

According to the Norwegian manuscript "Heimskringla", Skaði (Su-ka-ji) had divorced with the Vanir Njörðr and remarried with Odin.
Although she is unmarried in this work, it should be noted to the degree that it would be deeply engraved in posterity.

She, who, existed in the Losbtelt as "Scáthach-Skaði", has a particularly high mixing rate with Skaði, hence she has many attributes of the Bride of Gods.

Bond 5 『死溢るる魔境への門』

ランク:A+ 種別:対軍宝具/開戦宝具
レンジ:2~50 最大捕捉:200人

NA Localization: Gate of Skye
Rank: A+
NP Type: Anti-Army/Battle Start
Range: 2 - 50
Maximum Target: 200

The Gate Leading to Dún Scáith, Brimming with Death.
The giant gate that leads to the Land of Shadows, a land cut off from the world, is briefly summoned. The shadow castle that sits in the Land of Shadows, typically a land ruled by Scáthach of the Celts rather than Skadi, reveals itself.

Of those in range of the Noble Phantasm's effects, any deemed worthy will be granted divine blessings and great fortune by the shadow castle's presence. Anyone beloved by the castle's queen, even the most feeble, will find themselves empowered to defeat terrible enemies.

This Noble Phantasm may produce a remarkable turnaround if used in a Holy Grail War.

Scáthach-Skadi does not fully understand why she uses this Noble Phantasm. The only thing she is aware of is that the blessings of the Nordic gods likely allowed her to wield the power of the Land of Shadows that originates from her other self (the Celtic Scáthach). That's about it.

Fan Translation: 『Gate to the Magical Realm Brimming with Death』

Rank: A+
Classification: Anti-Army / War Declaration
Range: 2~50
Maximum Targets: 200 people

Gate of Skye.
Temporarily summons a massive "gate" leading to the "Land of Shadows" located outside of the world, a foreign demonic realm disconnected from the rest of the world. Instead of the Goddess Skaði, the "Castle of Shadows" which is a part of the "Land of Shadows" supposedly manifests per Scáthach's control.
All of those within the effective range are bestowed great luck and blessings to those whom she admits by the "Castle of Shadows".
Those who are beloved by the "Castle of Shadows" will be able to overwhelm their strong enemies, even if they are usually unable to do so.

If this Noble Phantasm is used properly in any usual Holy Grail War, there is a possibility of bringing astonishing complications.

Scáthach-Skaði does not exactly know why she uses this Noble Phantasm. She simply perceives it as a form of divine protection bestowed by the Nordic gods being employed through the power of her other self. (the Celtic Scáthach).

Extra 恐るべき女王。

NA Localization: A queen to be feared.
The goddess of snow and ice.

Though she was able to hide this fact while ruling the Lostbelt, she regrets that she was one of those left behind. She was beloved and even courted by the gods, but then Ragnarök came, and the gods disappeared leaving her alone in the Scandinavian Lostbelt. The last god.
On top of that...

She's actually pretty thoughtless.
She's actually pretty ditzy.
She's actually warmhearted.
If you develop a relationship with her, she may reveal a side of herself other than the queen... She may even reveal her true self, one neither god nor ruler...just the natural self beneath it all without needing to keep up the appearance of being the mother of Scandinavia.

Fan Translation: The Formidable Queen.
The Goddess of Ice and Snow.

While ruling over the Lostbelt, she felt sorrow in her heart as "someone left behind", but she hid it away.
She was a goddess beloved by the other gods and continued to be a suitor, but after the gods perished at the climax of Ragnarök, she became "the last Scandinavian God of the Lostbelt".

Actually, she is proportionately tough.
Actually, she is proportionately pure.
Actually, she is proportionately warm.
If one deepens their relationship with her, they will begin to see a face unlike a queen... they will see her true personality.
She was neither a god nor a ruler. Even if her title "the Mother of Scandinavia" falls off, she is still a girl.
