Bond 2

NA Localization: Perhaps the most famous depiction of Oberon is of the fairy king who appears in the Shakespearean comedy, "A Midsummer Night's Dream." In the play, Oberon is described as powerful, but with a selfish and immature disposition.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" follows two lovers named Lysander and Hermia as chaos erupts around them over the course of a single night. The Oberon of the play quarrels with his queen, Titania, over her new page, and to punish her, Oberon plans to use a concoction that causes one to fall in love with the first person they lay eyes on, and then make the page his own. However, the juice was entrusted to a fairy servant named Robin Goodfellow, whose negligence caused Lysander and Demetrius to be affected by the juice...

  ◆

Oberon has been mentioned in numerous other works as well. In a 15th century work titled "Huon of Bordeaux," he was portrayed as a king of the forest of fairies who could use magic which granted all types of wishes.

Fan Translation: Perhaps the most world-famous rendition of Oberon, as the faerie king in Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
In this play, Oberon is depicted as a character wielding immense power, with a childish and selfish disposition.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a play about the one-night mayhem starring the lovebirds Lysander and Hermia.
In this story, Oberon has a falling out with his queen Titania over her new changeling, and in retaliation, he creates a potion that makes a person fall in love with the first living thing they see when they wake up in order to make the changeling his.
However, because of Oberon's attendant Robin Goodfellow's tendency to slack off, the potion was also given to Lysander and Dimitrius...

There are also other stories that exist involving Oberon.
In the 15th century poem "Huon de Bordeaux," he was portrayed as the king of the faerie forest and a magic user with the ability to grant all wishes.

Bond 3

NA Localization: A beautiful young man with gentle blue eyes, silver hair, and pale skin. He's mild-mannered, sprightly, and a kind-hearted pacifist. His judiciousness makes him meticulous and careful in planning and executing strategies, but he never misses the exact right moment to make his move. He approaches situations bullishly and aggressively (some may see it as savagery).

He resembles a perfect prince of light straight out of a fairy tale. Simply put, he's a cunning main character, as proven by his mature smile but boyish behavior, or the fact that he is like an innocent visionary but possesses the authority and power of an adult. He is educated but not patronizing, idealistic but not militant, weak but not dependent on violence. He is the greatest prince of light of all faerie history, but he will not take a wife.

"I like being happy. Just like bugs require clean water, faeries can't live without being happy."

Fan Translation: A beautiful man with porcelain skin, silver hair, and kind blue eyes.
A gentle, engaged, and kind-hearted pacifist.
Because of his thoughtful nature, he is cautious when it comes to carrying out his plans and strategies, but he never misses a chance to make his move. He can dominate any situation with strong aggression (or savagery, depending on how you look at it).

A perfect prince of light, as if he were a character straight from a fairy tale.
At any rate, he is a sly story protagonist.
He has the smile of an adult but still retains his boyish mannerisms; he has the power and executive function of an adult despite being a boyish dreamer.

He is well-educated but doesn't boast about it.
He carries lofty ideals but doesn't force them on other people.
He is weak but does not submit to violence.
He is the greatest prince of light in faerie history, but will not take on a wife.

"I like being happy. Just as insects need clean water to live, faeries can't live without being happy."

○騎乗:A

NA Localization: Territory Creation: E-
A mage's ability to create their own workshop/territory. Oberon was once the king of the faerie forest, but as time passed, he lost his territory and became nothing more than a wanderer in a story. Consequently, his Territory Creation skill is at the lowest rank and paradoxically shows Oberon to be a king in name only. Oberon himself conceals this fact, and so he tries never to reveal that his Territory Creation abilities are low.

Item Construction: A+
The ability to create items. He becomes a high-ranking artisan who can create items that can confound the thoughts of others, as exemplified in the "tri-colored dew grass (love-in-idleness)" used to curse the fairy queen Titania.

Riding: A
In English faerie lore, faeries are said to travel by riding insects. Since Oberon is a king, he travels gracefully using his own wings, but he rides a sphingidae, more commonly known as a hawk moth (traveling at speeds of 130km/hr), when nobody is watching, racing to various lands and charming the hearts and minds of their people.

Fan Translation: Territory Creation: E-
The ability to create one's own workshop and base as a mage.
He used to be the king of the Faerie Forest, but his territory was lost over time and he has now become nothing more than a wanderer in stories.
As a result, his Territory Creation skill is the lowest rank possible. Paradoxically, this skill shows that Oberon is now all but a king in name only.
Oberon keeps this a secret, and does his best to hide the fact that his Territory Creation rank is low.

Item Construction: A+
The ability to create items. He is the highest-ranking craftsman when it comes to items that deceive the mind such as the Tricolor Field Dew, which has even managed to curse the Faerie Queen Titania.

Riding: A
History regarding British faeries states that faeries ride on insects when they travel. Oberon is a king so he travels gracefully using his own wings, but when he is out of people's sight, he rides a hawk moth (130 km/h), speeding through the land and leading people's hearts.

NA Localization: Evening Shroud: EX
When night falls, the allied party experiences great success and a sense of escape from reality which leads to an increase in their will to fight. This skill is almost identical to Merlin's Dreamlike Charisma.

Morning Lark: EX
When morning breaks, the allied party experiences a great increase in morale and self-worth. This is a type of forced doping which increases the target's magical energy, though only temporarily. The effect is lost with time, so deploy Noble Phantasms with great caution...

Divinity: -
Oberon's queen, Titania, is formed from a combination of numerous fairies and goddesses (Mab, Diana, Titan), and thus she possesses Divinity. Oberon is a faerie king without any other elements mixed in, so he has not acquired Divinity.

Fan Translation: Veil of the Night: EX
Night falls, bringing great success to the party, and increasing the will to fight by escaping reality.
Almost identical to Merlin's Dreamlike Charisma.

Lark of the Morning: EX
Morning breaks, greatly uplifting the party's mental state and increasing self-esteem.
One-time forced doping. It increases the target's magical output, but only for a short amount of time.
This power-up will be lost over time, so plan how you will use it for your Noble Phantasm accordingly...

Divinity: ―
Oberon's consort, Titania, is a faerie created as a composite of various faeries and goddesses (Mab, Diana, and Titan) and has divinity as a result. But since Oberon is purely the "King of the Faeries" and not a composite being, he has not acquired any divinity.

Tale of a Dream Held Aloft Yonder.
Oberon's rhyme of an unfinished paradise. He spreads his wings magnificently and scatters scales everywhere to forcibly transform the target's body (Spirit Origin) into a mental corpus of the dream world, and so prevents them from functioning in the real world. It is a grand magecraft that is superficially similar to a Reality Marble...or so he claims. Those who fall into a dream become Invincible in exchange for becoming unable to intervene in reality.

Lai Rhyme Goodfellow.
A counting song of an unfulfilled paradise that Oberon speaks of.
The wings on his back unfurl and scatter scales everywhere, forcibly transforming the target's body (Spirit Origin) into a spiritual body in the Dream World, stopping the target from being able to function in the real world. A great magecraft that is not unlike a Reality Marble. At least that's how it seems.
Those who fall trap into this dream become invincible, but are unable to intervene in the real world.

NA Localization: He is not, in truth, a Heroic Spirit from Proper Human History, but a Servant born in Faerie Britain. He is a doomsday device which curses the world, born from Faerie Britain's legendary Abyssal Worm, which is said to return all to nothingness.

NA Localization: Oberon is a Servant born from the British Isles, as well as being a doomsday device (Vortigern) created by the British Isles. He appeared as numerous forms of malice in the past (the mors king being one of them), and led the British Isles to destruction. Once Morgan's Era of the High Queen began, he was thwarted twice, which led to the creation of "Oberon."

He is popular with Britain's faeries because of his resemblance to the Wind and Wing clans, the most noble of all clans in Faerie Britain, but he is not a faerie at all. In fact, he is a single insect (ignobly) born from the emotional excrement embodying the island's revulsion for living things, disgust that a long-dead history has continued for over 10,000 years, and the desire to eliminate everything that lives on the island as well as all traces of the island itself.

In an ironic turn of events, when the British Isles produced the ancient faerie Oberon, his Spirit Origin overlapped with that of the Fairy King Oberon thanks to the influence of Proper Human History that Morgan brought in. This is how his purpose as a doomsday device and his nature as Oberon the King of Faeries are able to coexist.

Fan Translation: Oberon is a Servant, as well as a doomsday device (Vortigern) brought into existence by the British Isles.
He has appeared in various forms of "malice" up to now (the King of the Mors being one of them), leading the British Isles to their destruction, but having been stopped twice by Morgan who constructed the Queen Calendar, "Oberon" was created as the third output attempt.
He is popular because his appearance makes it look like he hails from the Wind Clan or the Wing Clan, clans considered elegant in the Faerie Kingdom, but he is not actually a faerie.
"It's disgusting how this practically dead history has survived for more than 10,000 years. I want to eliminate all traces of this island, including everyone who lives here," he said. Nothing more than an insect who was born (ended up being born) from the vomit and excretions of the island's disgust for living things.

Ironically, the British Isles produced the "Ancient Faerie King Oberon," but due to Proper Human History's influence infused by Morgan, his Spirit Origin ended up being overlapped with "Oberon, the King of Faeries."
That is why his purpose as a doomsday device and his nature as Oberon, the King of Faeries, coexist within himself.

NA Localization: A beautiful young man with hair dark as the deepest shadow, sunken blue eyes, and sharp bony limbs. He is evil incarnate, the very image of a fairy-tale villain—a prince of darkness. His every word and action is a lie. He claims his life's purpose is to watch humans fall to ruin, but there's no way of knowing whether he is sincere in this or not. He does not hold others in such contempt and work always to bring misfortune on them because he loves only himself and wishes only for his own happiness. Rather, he finds everyone and everything utterly revolting. He has neither love for others, nor for himself.

As Oberon's Fae Eyes see the truth, he looks down on everything he sees and conceals the sheer disgust that wells up from the very depths of his heart with an elegant smile. His every expression is a performance, and his lies, though without flaw, are nonetheless not wholly fabrication. There is a genuine aspect of himself that could live this way if he so chose. Yet, as he is cursed to have all that he says be a lie, any truth in his words or deeds is rendered meaningless.

He will never harbor love for any living creature. To Oberon, humans and faeries are "meaningless, grating on the eyes, disgusting yet seemingly content" objects to be eliminated. Because he will never be able to feel happiness himself, he is irritated and unable to comprehend why other living things can effortlessly achieve happiness simply by living.

Fan Translation: A beautiful man with hair dark as a shadow, sunken blue eyes, and sharp bony limbs. A perfect blight, as if he were a villain straight from a fairy tale. A prince of darkness.

Since everything he says and does is a lie, there is no need for him to tell the truth.
He says his purpose in life is to watch people fall to ruins, but there is no way to tell whether he is speaking the truth or not.
The reason why he looks down on others and causes misfortune isn't because he loves only himself and wants only himself to be happy. It is because he thinks everyone is simply disgusting.
He has no love for others, nor for himself as well.

Because Faerie Eyes can see the truth, he looks down on everything he sets his eyes on, and smiles sweetly to hide the discomfort constantly rising in his chest.

His public persona is entirely an act, but Oberon's lies are so perfect that they are not considered fiction. If he is so inclined, he can live like that and have that be his true persona.
However, since he is cursed and anything he does is considered a lie, it being true holds no meaning to it.

He will never harbor love for any living thing, any human.
To Oberon, humans and faeries alike are targets of exclusion that are unimportant but unpleasant, disgusting but appear happy.
Since Oberon can never feel happiness all his life, he considers other lifeforms that can achieve happiness just by being alive without any effort or intelligence to be an eyesore and incomprehensible to him.

NA Localization: Fae Eyes: -
A form of vision, innate to faeries, which "converts the world." It is different than the Mystic Eyes some humans possess. These are said to be the eyes of greater faeries who can pierce through all falsehoods and reveal the truth, and they show Oberon the malice, flaws, and inner nature of intelligent beings.

Anti-Humanity: D
The power to put a hold on all things humanity produces and the laws that work in humanity's favor. Normally the Beast class possesses this skill. Despite being unable to hate or hold a grudge against humanity, Oberon's eagerness and desire to eradicate humanity is as instinctive as breathing. This enabled him to acquire the same skills as the Evils of Humanity after eons of deception and biding his time. Simply put, it is a form of malice that subtly seduces the direction (or the mood) of the target's hearts and minds toward baser, more evil things.

Furthermore, he is on profoundly poor terms with Merlin, another resident of the dream world. Oberon rejects all support and aid from Merlin. This rift was born of their different attitudes toward your tale, and Oberon dedicates almost all his powers of disguise to deceive Merlin. Thus, Merlin is unable to perceive Oberon, and whenever someone speaks to Oberon through Clairvoyance, Merlin sees that person as simply speaking to themself.

Midsummer Night's Dream: EX
The curse Oberon has been inflicted with ever since his inception.

"While these visions did appear; / And this weak and idle theme, / no more yielding but a dream."

One of the world's most famous fairy plays, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," closes with this soliloquy, which is also representative of Oberon's nature. In human history, the Fairy King's every word and action have been labeled as lies, cursing him to forever be unable to speak truth.

   ◆

"Those damn bastards. I'll destroy them all one day."
Oberon's aggression stems neither from jealousy, nor from hatred, but rather from his love for Titania. However, he will never admit to this aloud.

Fan Translation: Faerie Eyes: ―
These are not Mystic Eyes that humans possess, but are rather a type of vision that faeries are born with that allows them to "alter worlds."
These eyes, which see through all lies and reflect the truth, allow Oberon to clearly see the malice, shortcomings, and nature of intelligent beings.

Anti-Human Order: D
This is an ability that puts a stop to everything created by humanity, as well as the laws that work in humanity's favor.
Originally, this was a skill possessed by the Beast Class.
Oberon has acquired the same skill possessed by the Evils of Humanity after deceiving and remaining in hiding for so long.
He bears no hatred or resentment toward humanity. He merely wants to eradicate them, an action as instinctive as breathing.
To put it simply, it is a form of malice that subtly directs people's hearts (the general atmosphere) to evil, low, and cheap tendencies.

In addition, Oberon is fatally incompatible with Merlin, another resident of the Dream World, and refuses all support from him.
There is a disconnection caused by a difference in stance regarding stories, and Oberon allocates almost all of his camouflage abilities towards Merlin.
As a result, Merlin cannot perceive Oberon. When Merlin sees someone talking to Oberon through his Clairvoyance, said person appears like they are talking to themselves.

A Midsummer Night's Dream: EX
A curse that Oberon has carried since he came into existence.
"Everything is a dream illusion.
The events that transpired here is not worthy of truth―"
That is how the world's most famous play about faeries, "A Midsummer Night's Dream", closed the curtains, but on the other hand it represents Oberon's nature.
In human history, his words and actions were labeled as lies no matter what he did, so as a result, a curse where nothing about him is true and nothing he says is true has been engraved into him.

   ◆

"Damn bastards. I'll destroy everything one of these days." Oberon's aggressiveness was not born out of jealousy or hatred, but rather out of his love for Titania. But that is something Oberon will never puts it into words.
