As a child, his father, Tameyoshi, once said that Tametomo would grow up to be a renowned figure in Japan's western region of Chinzei, and that his skill with a bow would one day surpass that of his ancestors, and he was right. Even from a young age, it was clear to those around him that Tametomo was a gifted warrior. However, Tametomo often butted heads with his brothers, perhaps because they resented his talent. Eventually, his father sent him away to Kyushu in the west of Japan. There, Tametomo continued to make a name for himself in battle, and eventually became known as Chinzei Hachirou. Later, his father was relieved of his post as police and judicial chief for failing to respond to a summons from the Imperial Court. Tametomo, in turn, responded by raising an army of his own and riding out to Kyo to aid his father, only to get caught up in the Hogen Rebellion. He sided with the former emperor, along with his father, but ultimately lost the war. Tametomo's father was executed, and he himself was banished to Izu Oshima. However, not content with his banishment, he began conquering the neighboring islands for himself, which prompted the Imperial Court to send troops after him. Left with nowhere to run, Tametomo ultimately decided to take his own life. Tametomo is said to have been 212cm tall, an exceptional height among the Japanese, especially for the time. Likewise, his bow is said to have been so taut that no ordinary person could hope to draw it on their own. Fan Translation: In the fifth year of the Hōen Era (1139 AD), he was born as the son of a prostitute and Minamoto no Tameyoshi. According to his father Tameyoshi "Haruka's youngest son, Tametomo, was born in Chinzei. His skill with a bow and arrow surpassed all of his ancestors, and perhaps even all those after him as well". From an early age, he was a young man renowned for his valor... or so it's been said. He may have lost some of that valor through conflict with his brothers. His father, Tameyoshi, exiles him to the Kyushu islands. There, he showed outstanding military prowess, earning the title of "Chinzei Hachirō". However, as he didn't respond to the summons of the Imperial Court, his father was dismissed from his position in the 'Kebiishi'. As he pushes to the capital with military support for his father, he finds himself embroiled within the Hogen Rebellion. Tametomo, who had joined with his father in support of the retired Emperor Sutoku, was defeated. His father was executed, and Tametomo was cast of to the Izu Islands. Following that, the Imperial Court sent troops to occupy (and plunder) the neighboring islands. As the sun rose and he found himself cornered... he committed suicide. Tametomo stood at an imposing height over seven feet tall (212cm), which was incredibly unusual for a Japanese man at the time, and his bow was so sturdy that couldn't be drawn by the average person.

Even then, he wasn't firing his bow at full power, since the ship in question was made of wood. Now that he is a Servant, he has no qualms about using all of his strength. Furthermore, as his Mystics increase while at sea (specifically, on water) he could still use this Noble Phantasm to deal a fatal blow to a modern day Aegis-class cruiser. For that matter, it's unlikely that even a nuclear submarine could escape this arrow's destructive reach. While it does require a significant amount of time and effort to use this Noble Phantasm in succession, Tametomo is more than capable of keeping enemies at bay while he prepares his next shot. Techniques he uses to do so include rapid-firing weaker arrows to pin enemies in place, or dividing a single shot into three and firing them one after the other. Fan Translation: "Instant Sinking Moonbow" Rank: B+ Type: Anti-Ship Range: 5 to 50 Maximum capture: One ship (for convenience) Gōchi, Yumi Harizuki The moonbow that instantly sunk a ship. The recreation of the anecdote where he sunk a ship with only a single arrow. However, he wasn't taking it as seriously when it was only wooden boats, so he'd prefer to give it his all now that he's a Servant. Additionally, because of the increased Mystery on the sea (or waterside), now even the most advanced warships can be struck fatally, and nuclear submarines struggle to escape from these arrows. Continuous usage of this Noble Phantasm requires considerable time and inflicts a notable burden, but with continuous checking between shooting intervals, or splitting the shot into three parts, you can use solid ingenuity keep your opponent at bay.
Bond 5	元々は対鬼種、対妖を前提とした戦闘機械であり、 摂津式大具足の技術が流用されている。 だが、その前に鬼種や妖の出現が減少したことで 未完成のまま封印を施された。 そして長い時を経て、封印から解放、 未完成部分を当時の技術者が補い、 対軍用もののふユニットとしてひとまず完成を見た。 完成までにあまりに長い年を経てしまったせいか、 担当した技術者の独自要素が製造過程で かなり加わっており、技術の源流は不明。 （摂津式大具足も、技術の源流は明確ではない） 冷静、冷徹な思考回路を有する一方、 凄まじい負けず嫌いであり、 権力に興味はなく、己の我を通すことを優先する。 彼が機械であることはほとんど誰にも 知られておらず、剛毅豪放たる鎧武者としての 姿のみが後世に伝わっている。 「堂々としていれば意外とバレないものである」 とは本人の弁。	NA TL NA Localization: Originally a fighting machine developed with the same technology used to make the Settsu Armor and meant to be used in battles against oni and monsters. However, by the time he was ready, the number of oni and monsters had dwindled so much that he was no longer necessary for that purpose, and was therefore sealed away before completion. It was not until many years later that his seal was broken and a new engineer filled in the missing parts to turn him into an anti-army warrior. However, it took so long to do so that the engineer ended up using a great deal of custom elements, the origins of which are no longer known. (Not that we know exactly where the technology for the Settsu Armor came from, either.) Despite his cold logic circuits, he is incredibly competitive and a dreadfully sore loser. He has no interest in authority, and cares only for proving his own might. Very few people knew then or now that he is actually a machine, and only tales of him as a mighty armored warrior have been passed on to later generations. According to Tametomo himself, most people never catch on as long as you act confident. Fan Translation: Originally, this was a combat mecha that specialized in anti-demon and anti-yōkai combat, and the technology was appropriate into Settsu-style heavy armor. However, before it could be used, it was sealed in an unfinished state due to a decrease of yōkai and demon sightings. After a long period of time, the seal was released, and engineers supplemented the unfinished parts and was completed to be used as a military weapon. Perhaps because it took so long to complete, and the lead engineer added so many of their own unique design elements, but the origin of the technology is unknown. (Even the Settsu-style armor's technological origins are unknown.) Someone with cool and level-headed cognition circuit but an intense distaste for losing and no interest in power but prioritizes his own self. Almost nobody knew he was a machine, and only his appearance as a staunchly bold armored warrior has been passed down through history. "If you remained dignified, then nothing could be unexpectedly leaked." He says.
