Sea God's Runes: EX Bazett's rune magecraft, which draws on Manannan's power. Although the Manannan who resides in her Servant Spirit Origin is a Divided Spirit, he is still a Divine being. While one would think this would let Bazett employ a wide array of normally unthinkable magecraft, as a vessel, she is too inept to do more with this power than using it to enhance the spells she was already capable of. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. By focusing the sea god's vast power on ridiculously simple uses (like making her fists stronger), Bazett effectively trades versatility for incredible destructive force. Which is also to say that her clumsiness is channeled purely. Instead of utilizing the myriad powers of the Sea God, she manifests it in ridiculously simple ways (such as strengthening her fists), and focuses on single points. As a result of losing its innate versatility, she instead creates terrifying powers of destruction.

Essentially, this is a Fragarach that the sea god makes out of, well, foam. Currently, Manannán has transformed the White Steed Embarr, said to be the incarnation of ocean waves and foam, instilling them into the form of the Retaliator. It's said he would use this power to woo human women, and that he fathered many children as a result. He also possessed all manner of magical items, including Fragarach, a self-navigating boat called Sguaba Tuinne (Wave-Sweeper), a pig which resurrected after it was eaten, an apple branch that could put people to sleep, and a white steed that could run on both land and sea. According to myth, he often blessed brave warriors with items such as these. To Lugh, he gave Fragarach and the boat; to Cú Chulainn, he gave a magical helmet; and to Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, he gave a magical spear. In general, Manannan loves humans as much as the sea that provides them with countless bounty. This is why, when he sensed the impending crisis facing humanity, he decided to materialize as a Servant in a compatible vessel: Bazett. He became an Alter Ego because Bazett possesses only a fraction of his true power and an isolated fragment of his consciousness. In general, Manannan is still much the same being he was when he lent magical items to brave warriors. The only difference now is that instead of lending an item, he's lending a part of himself. While he was a bit surprised to find that his vessel was such an awkward woman, what's done is done. If all his vessel knows how to do is punch things, then this sea god will make sure she punches them as hard as she possibly can.
