Default	幕末の京都を中心に活動した治安組織、 新選組の局長、近藤勇。 武州多摩の農民出身であったが、浪士組に参加。のちの新選組の局長となる。池田屋事件で名をあげると、幕府に功績を認められ、正式に幕臣として取り立てられた。 だが時代の流れに逆らう事は出来ずに新選組は崩壊。最後は新政府軍に捕縛され、斬首される。 詳細は不明だが、今回の召喚において、彼の霊基は生前の姿から大きく変質している。	TL The Chief of the security organization that operated mainly in the Kyōto of the Bakumatsu, the Shinsengumi, Kondō Isami. He was a farmer from Bushū-Tama, but joined the Rōshigumi. Afterwards, he’d become Chief of the Shinsengumi. As he gained fame in the Ikedaya Incident, his achievements were acknowledged by the Bakufu, and he was officially promoted to a shogunate retainer. But the Shinsengumi collapsed, unable to resist the flow of the times. In the end he was captured by the army of the new government, and decapitated. Details are unknown, but in this summoning, his Spirit Origin has greatly changed from how he looked in his past life.

Bond 2	言わずと知れた新選組局長、近藤勇。武州多摩の農民の出であるが、生まれながらにして武術の才能に恵まれ、天然理心流の道場に入門。その実力が認められて弱冠28歳で天然理心流の宗家を継ぐ。 やがて時代が大きく動く中、京都の治安維持を目的とした浪士組に、知己である土方歳三、沖田総司らと共に参加し、そこで後の新選組の中心メンバーとなる仲間達と出会う。浪士組が分裂した後は、近藤は京都に残り、新選組を結成。局長として、その類まれな指導力で隊の柱として辣腕を振るった。 池田屋事件をはじめとする数々の功績を挙げ、幕府に正式に取り立てられ幕臣となる。しかし、時代は幕府を倒そうとする勢力へと傾き、鳥羽伏見の戦いで敗れた新選組は、江戸に移り、甲陽鎮撫隊と名を変え、甲府に向かうも敗走。流山にて、ついに近藤は投降、捕縛される。近藤の処遇を巡っては新政府軍でも対立が生じたが、最終的には板橋にて斬首される。享年35。	TL Chief of the Shinsengumi, as everybody knows, Kondō Isami. He was born to farmers from Bushū-Tama, but was blessed with talent in martial arts, and began training at the dōjō of Tennen Rishin-ryū. His ability was acknowledged and succeeded the headmaster of Tennen Rishin-ryū at the tender age of 28. As the times changed, he joined the Rōshingumi, which aimed to maintain public order in Kyōto, along with Hijikata Toshizō and Okita Sōji, and there they met the friends that would later become core members of the Shinsengumi. After the Rōshigumi was disbanded, Kondō remained in Kyōto, and formed the Shinsengumi. As the Chief, he showed his sharpness as a pillar of the squad with his exceptional leadership skills. He obtained several achievements, starting with the Ikedaya Incident, and was officially promoted by the shogunate to become a retainer. However, the times were turning in favor of the powers who tried to throw down the shogunate, the Shinsengumi moved to Edo after being defeated in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi, changed its name to Kōyō Chinbutai, and headed to Kōfu to be routed as well. In Nagareyama, Kondō finally surrendered, and was arrested. Confrontations arose even in the new regime’s army regarding Kondō’s treatment, but eventually was beheaded at Itabashi. He died at 35.

When activated, the Shinsengumi soldiers that used to rally under this flag and ran through the times together are summoned within the space of a limited area. Each soldier is an independent Servant, and although they lack a Noble Phantasm, all of them have the equivalent of the “Independent Action” skill at E- rank, so they can operate for a short time under Kondeven in the absence of a Master under Kondō’s flag. “The character engraved in our hearts… That alone is a truth with no lies to it… Shinsengumi, to the front!” Every commander of the Shinsengumi possesses this Noble Phantasm, its effects don’t vary but it has the peculiarity of the summoned soldiers’ lineup or personality changing slightly due to the invocator’s mental image. However, in the case that Kondō uses it the premise is different, each soldier rallies under the flag in their best condition, everyone is truly in Shinsengumi-Is-The-Best Fever Mode.
