姿形が怪物であるだけでなく、彼の持つ権勢があまりに圧倒的であるからだ。

Considered to be the most horrendous tyrant in all of Russia's history, his wickedness and cruelty are the stuff of legend. And yet, he was also a devoutly faithful man. No ordinary human could reconcile such an extreme dichotomy, and it is likely something that only a tsar with absolute authority could possess.
Even knowing what to expect, any ordinary person would likely faint from so much as glimpsing this Servant, not only because of his monstrous, imposing appearance, but also because of the overwhelming power of his presence.
Infamous for being Russia's worst tyrant, his severity and brutality were unprecedented.
And such a person was an earnestly devout believer of God.
Such an excessively contradictory dual nature, something a regular human being would never be permitted to possess, is a special privilege that only an emperor holding absolute power could be allowed to have.
Even though his life and circumstances are well known in the modern day, for an ordinary human, simply laying eyes on this Servant would be enough to make them pass out.
Even if Ivan's appearance were not that of a monster's, the power he wields is simply too overwhelming for the common man. |

午前に罪を悔いて聖堂に籠もり、

凍土帝国における彼は、当時最強を誇った魔獣と結合することで、異聞帯ロシアを支配するに相応しい怪物となった―――成り果てたのである。

Mental Schism: A
During his reign as tsar, Ivan the Terrible established a centralized government, but at the same time, his rule was defined by terror.
In the mornings, he cloistered himself in a church so he could reflect upon his sins, while in the afternoons he reveled in torturing rebels. These conflicting saintly and villainous mindsets allow him to switch between two categories of alignment: Lawful and Chaotic.
Innocent Monster (Foreign): A
He asserted that he was like unto a god, and by persecuting any nobility that had privilege and power, he was able to bring his authority to the absolute peak. Regarded by the people of Russia as the unchallenged tsar, the people in Western Europe cowered in fear and called him "Ivan Grozny" (Ivan the Fearsome).
Here, having fused himself with a massive Demonic Beast that was itself considered the strongest of its time, he has become (or rather, been reduced to) a monstrous leviathan. Fitting for the ruler of the frozen empire of the Lostbelt Russia.
Emergency Prerogative: A
The power of absolute control for the Tsar that Ivan the Terrible sought in order to control the opposing aristocrats. His intense intimidation and the power of his presence reduces the stats and skill ranks of those who face him. An ordinary human would find it difficult to even look at him. However, anyone possessing Charisma ranked B or higher can negate the effect.
○ Contradictive Mind: A
As the emperor of Russia, the Lightning Emperor Ivan established a government of centralized authoritarian rule while simultaneously imposing a reign of terror on the nation.
In the morning, regretting his sins, he would confine himself in the church, but in the afternoon, he would be torturing rebels with great delight.
The souls of a saint and a villain seemed to live in perfect coexistence, randomly transforming his alignment into two kinds. Namely, into lawful and chaotic.
○Innocent Monster (Lost): A
Despite being a human, he proclaimed himself to be an existence equal to 「God」and after chasing away the aristocracy that once boasted of great influence, he became the one with the most authority.
Revered as the absolute emperor in Russia, the people of Western Europe gave him the moniker "Terrible" in fear.
In the Empire of Frozen Soil, by combining with the Demonic Wild Beasts that boasted the title of strongest, he became a monster worthy of ruling the russian Lostbelt────that is how he ended up.
○Almighty Supreme Authority: A
The emperor's authority of absolute obedience the Lightning Emperor Ivan was seeking in order to rule over the opposing nobles.
To the surrounding people, the strong intimidating air results in an intense "heavy pressure" that lowers the rank of their full capacity. In the case of an ordinary human, even seeing will prove to be difficult.
It's possible to negate the effects with a Charisma skill of rank B or higher. |

イヴァン雷帝の手足とでも言うべき存在だった。
黒衣を纏い、黒毛の馬に乗り、黒い馬具をつけ、
馬の首には犬の頭をくくりつけた。
同時に獣毛を箒状に編んだ鞭を持ち、
「裏切り者に対しては犬のように襲い掛かり、
箒で掃き出す」という意味合いを込めたという。
かつては寝食すら共にし、同じ屋根の下で暮らす共同体だった彼らは、いまやこの世に存在しない。
彼らが這いずるのは魔獣雷帝イヴァンの夢の中だけ。イヴァンが眠りに入ると発動する自動防御、
制圧宝具。
そのまま無数の兵士たちの姿に分散し、彼に仇なす敵兵を鏖殺せんと奔走する。集団の暴力としては圧倒的であるが、個々の力は弱いのが唯一の救い。
ただし、首都モスクワ近辺では一体一体が
低ランクサーヴァントに近しい力を持つ。

神獣の十字行。皇帝がいずれ行き着く（と信じている）天上の国に向けての行進。

イヴァン雷帝は在りし日の巨獣状態を
一時的に取り戻し、容赦なく敵を粉砕する。

『Chyornyj Oprichniki』

Black Dogs, Come Forth into My Dreams.
Also known as the Black Dog Corps. A Noble Phantasm created from Ivan the Terrible's personal guards, the Oprichniki, which were established at the same time as his Emergency Prerogative. The Oprichniki, who served directly under Ivan the Terrible, reserved the right to confiscate land and property of the aristocrats.
The group dressed in all black and rode black horses bedecked in black harnesses. They hung severed dog heads about their horses' necks and carried broom-shaped whips made from animal fur to hound and sweep away any who would betray the Tsar.
They once slept and ate together under a single roof like a community...but they no longer exist.
They now dwell in the Demonic Beast Tsar's dreams and serve as an automatic defense mechanism, a dominating Noble Phantasm force that is invoked the moment Ivan goes to sleep. The Noble Phantasm splits into multiple soldiers and runs amok, killing any who defy or otherwise wrong the Tsar.
As a group, their violence and power are overwhelming, but individually they are weak, which may be their only flaw. Still, each individual is still nearly as powerful as a low-ranked Servant when within the capital, Moscow.

A Divine Beast's procession, one that the Tsar believes will eventually lead him to the heavens. Anyone and anything that may block his way must be in rebellion against the Tsar, and therefore in defiance of God's will. Ivan the Terrible temporarily reclaims his mountainous form to mercilessly pulverize his enemy.

The Black Dog Corps.
A Noble Phantasm transformed from the Lightning Emperor's Extraordinary Authority skill, based on his "royal guards (the Oprichniki)".
The Oprichniki was an existence that you could call the hands and feet of the Lightning Emperor Ivan and they held the authority to seize the property and lands of every noble.
Fully clad in black clothes, they rode on black horses using black harnesses. Said horses had the head of a dog hanging from their necks while their riders held broom-shaped whips knit from animal hair in their hands."Rebels will be struck down like a dog and swept out with a broom", the dog heads and the brooms seemed to imply such a thing.
Their brotherhood whose members once ate, slept and lived under the same roof, does not exist in this world anymore; their only traces left are the beings creeping in the dreams of Demonic Wild Beast Lightning Emperor Ivan.
A Noble Phantasm that activates on its own once the Tsar has fallen asleep, protecting and ruling over his dominion.
The Noble Phantasm spawns an infinite number of soldiers, who do not rest until the enemy is killed. As a group, their might is overwhelming; the individual soldiers' relatively low strength being its only weakness.
However, in the vicinity of the capital city, Moscow, even a single unit has power comparable to a low-rank Servant.

The emperor marches towards the Land of the Heavens and believes he'll reach it one day.
For one to stand in his way is tantamount to committing treason towards the emperor, which is equal to blaspheming God.
Lightning Emperor Ivan regains his old form as a colossal beast of days of yore and proceeds to pulverize the opposition without mercy.

現在の人類史にいたる過程で「不要なもの、不要なゆらぎ（イフ）」としてそぎ落とされた“もしも”のロシア、「その先は行き止まり（デッドエンド）なので歴史を打ち切る」と並行世界論にすら切り捨てられた永久凍土帝国アナスタシアに君臨する皇帝。
それがイヴァン雷帝である。
サーヴァントとして蘇ったイヴァン雷帝その人だが、異聞帯の歴史においては世界最初のヤガとして存在している。
彼の帝国に住まう者はみなヤガだが、それは人間の姿では、最早生きていけない過酷な環境だからだ。
ただし、その過程で彼らは人間であったときに得た大切なものを失った。

Ivan the Terrible is the tsar ruling the hypothetical version of Russia within the Permafrost Empire, Anastasia. His realm has been pruned from Proper Human History, as it was deemed an unnecessary deviation and an interruption even to Parallel World Theory. He has returned as a Servant, but in the history of the Lostbelt, he is the very first Yaga. All who live within his empire are Yaga, but that is only because mere humans cannot survive the extreme environment.
This change, however, cost them all something that was important to them as humans.
A potential Russia that was scraped away after being deemed as "an unneeded thing with unnecessary variations (IF)" to attain the current Human History; the Eternally Frozen Empire - Anastasia that was discarded by even the parallel world theory claiming "such a scraped off future (dead end) will have its history come to a close eventually"; such is the land the Emperor governs.
Such is Lightning Emperor Ivan, revived as a Servant. However, in the history of Lostbelt, that man exists as the world's first Yaga.
Everyone living in his empire was a Yaga, since in that harsh environment, human beings could no longer exist.
However, in the process of becoming a mix between beast and man, the Yagas have lost the important things they gained as humans. |

しかし、異聞帯において世界凍結の危機が
迫ったとき、彼は魔術師たちを招聘。

Ivan the Terrible from Proper Human History may have been depicted as a tyrant, but he had little to no association with magecraft. However, when the world threatened to freeze over in the Lostbelt, Ivan called upon mages to develop a technique that combined humans with Demonic Beasts in order to survive.
However, this choice was tantamount to creating an entirely new sort of creature, completely different from humans. With their mentality so thoroughly changed, they were deemed to be taking a doomed path of human history. A dead end. A world that must be pruned.
With their never-ending wails echoing in his ears, the Ivan the Terrible continues his pilgrimage, plagued by regret.
After clearing the Eternally Frozen Empire - Anastasia
The Pan-Human History's Lightning Emperor Ivan was a true tyrant, an existence with little to no relation to magic.
Be that as it may, with the crisis of the Lostbelt's freezing world looming over the horizon, he invited mages to his empire, seeking a way to survival by utilizing a technique that combined Demonic Wild Beast and man.
Nonetheless, such a method was no different from giving birth to life forms that were no longer human and before long, having even their minds change into that of a beast, they were recognized as a dead-end human history────a world awaiting pruning.
His lamentation non-ending,
the Lightning Emperor walks his pilgrimage in grief.
