However, unlike her normal self, her feelings for her loving Sigurd are entirely out in the open. Surprisingly, she will never utter menacing threats like "I will kill you" or "I shall kill you." It's as if this Spirit Origin of hers unwittingly seals her impulse to kill her loved one (Sigurd). And Sigurd readily accepted his nightly fate. Originally this Spirit Origin transformation was suggested by Sigurd, who wanted to grant Brynhild's wish to spend just a few days without being engulfed with the desire to kill. But ultimately, Sigurd coming in contact with her caused her desire to kill (love) to swell so much that there was concern she might berserk at one point. And while Master and Sigurd were able to calm her before she went berserk, the two lovers found that they were destined to never be together. This Spirit Origin was designed to last for one fleeting summer moment. "You are lovely in this Spirit Origin, but it's the normal you I love." ...is what Sigurd supposedly said to her at the end of summer. The words of her beloved made Brynhild smile. And while she smiled, she wept.
