Mechanics[]

  • Advanced Quests are quests to test your skills using only your Servants. (Special Party)
  • They appear permanently in Chaldea Gate.
  • You can attempt Advanced Quests anytime if you fulfill the requirements to unlock them.
  • Rewards for clearing Advanced Quests are special Craft Essences that boost item drop rate.
  • From February 28, 2022 18:00 JST, you can repeat Advanced Quests as many time as you want (Clear Rewards, Bond EXP, Master EXP, and item drops are only obtainable in the first time clear).

Tips & Tricks: The goal is to defeat the Chimera enemy alone. The rest of the enemies are considered fodder, but they are important to this quest gimmick. For now, the Chimera is protected by 10 layers of Special Defense called Hunger , which will mitigate any incoming damages.
Right at the start of the battle, the Chimera will activate it's Prey ability and absorbs it's own ally. When that happens, the Chimera will gain either Critical Damage up , Attack up , or Heal 10,000HP, However, it will also lose a layer of it's Hunger Special Defense . After a turn, a new enemy will turn up in the previous' place. The contents of the enhancements vary depending on the enemy preyed upon.

**Leveling up, By only Eating!: After about 3 times the Chimera uses it's Prey Ability, it will transform itself into a White Chimera which will remove all debuffs and increase it's base status by it's kind. When it uses its abilities about 10 times (effectively removing all layers of its Special Defense ) it will transform further into a Super Chimera and have buff itself with Attack up , Critical Damage up , Invincibility (1 attack) , and Heal 200,000 HP.

The best time to attack would be when its Special Defenses have been chipped away a little. With that in mind, ignore the others and focus on the Chimera itself until it is eliminated.

Tips & Tricks: This quest require you to defeat the Spell books alone. Each time a Spell Book is eliminated, Kid Gil's HP decreases by 100,000 HP. So the goal is to eliminate at least 6 of the Spell Books. However, this is not an easy task as it seems. If you have enough firepower, recommended to shoot at least 4 consecutive NPs with AoE effects. The Spell Books all have one color of resistance and one color of resistance down~

The most troublesom parts about these Spell books is that they will lock certain abilities of all you servant based on their types:

  • Green Book = Skill lock (3 Turns)
  • Blue Book = NP Seal (1 Turn)
  • Red Book = Apply Burn (3 Turns)

-Another troublesome issues to deal with is that the Green book has a Debuff Attack that will always remove 1 buff from the player's Servant.

Kid Gil will not attack in any of his turns, but he will empower each book with a buff that will increase their attack output by a bit. When Kid Gill is down to 100,000 HP, he will cast Invincibility (1 attack) on all his enemy allies.

Tips & Tricks: At the start of battle, Mad King of Slaughter will gain these buffs for the duration of the entire battle:

Raging Madness, Death Fangs of a Beast that cries in Fury: Increase own NP Damage Resistance by 20% (Permanent, Unremovable) (This buff is stacked up to 4 times, so it adds up to 80% of NP Damage Resistance alltogether). When the enemy is hit by NP, 1 stack of the NP Damage Resistance is removed, but in turn will increase the enemy's Critical Hit Rate by 10% (Permanent, Unremovable).

Affinity for Vermillion Spear: Takes 4x damage from the Lancer class (Permanent).

Death Fang Beast: Apply Immobilize Debuff Immune (permanent, unremovable) on self, Apply On-Critical-Hit Effect (permanent, unremovable) on self: Reduce one enemy's Max HP by 1500 (permanent, unremovable)

Sophisticated Murderous Intent: Cú Chulainn (Alter) will activate this skill once all 4 of his NP Damage Resistance goes away. Will gain the following effects:

  • Remove Debuffs from self
  • Charge own NP gauge by 3 bars
  • Gain 30% Attack up for 1 turn

Gouging Spear of Slaughter: Used as his first action on odd numbered turns while not under the influence of Skill Seal:

  • Reduce own HP by 10000 (Demerit)
  • Reduce one enemy's HP by 5000
  • Reduce one enemy's Defense by 10% (2 turns, removable)
  • Heal own HP by 10000

Tornado Calling Roar: Used as his first action on even numbered turns while not under the influence of Skill Seal:

  • Increase own NP Damage by 30% (3 turns, removable)
  • Remove one latest Offensive Buff from all player's allies.

Rage Like A Wave: Activates after 1st HP break.

  • Increase own Attack by 20% (permanent, unremovable)
  • Charge own NP gauge by 2 additional ticks each turn (permanent, unremovable)
  • Apply 80% Critical Damage Resist on self (4 times, 5 turns).

Craving Victory: Activates after 2nd HP break.

  • Fully charge own NP gauge .
  • Increase own Attack by 20% (permanent, unremovable)
  • Increase own Defense by 20% (permanent, unremovable)
  • Apply On-NP-Attack state that charges own NP bar by 2 (permanent, unremovable)

*Rising Hostility: If the player brings in a Scáthach (either original or Summer version), she will be given the special buffs Taunt up (3 Turns), Star Regeneration up to 10 stars (Perm), and Critical Damage up (Perm). However, Cú Chulainn (Alter) enemy will have his NP gauge charged to the MAX instantly one time.
