At the moment, I know a few dozen words in Japanese (though not in hiragana/kanji, just their romanized versions). How long should one usually study Japanese in order to both speak it kind of fluently and, most importantly, read stuff like visual novels and F/GO in particular? Also, is it better to find a tutor or are online sources enough?

@Wasadar4 , the guitar Aoko's holding in her FA art is called a Stratocaster. And Alice is, well, a Caster, at least according to F/GO.
