My servants

The pictures and title are pretty much self-explanatory, but I can’t decide between these three lucky bag summons for which one I should get when they are released.

Mages

I love Illya and Merlin as characters, and would also love skadi. The only really good casters I have are Castoria and Waver. I’d also like Da-Vinci and Nero, but I’d probably be disappointed drawing them

Assassins

I like all three of them as characters, but none of them are favorites, yk? The rarest Assassins I have are kiritsugu and Wu Zetian. Obviously Koyanskaya would be the ideal pick up, but Kama would be great, and Semiramis is cool.

The main focus is on Koyan and Kama, pulling Semiramis would be seen as a minor ‘loss’

Sabers

This one is probably least likely for me to go with choosing on my own. I’d only want Charlie, Muramasa, Astolfo, or Ibuki— and although Astolfo is my favorite character, it’d probably be a waste of a lucky bag to level up his NP. Charlie is probably in my top 5 favorite characters in the entire franchise. Muramasa is definitely up there in my favorites- but probably mostly because of Shiro. I do already have great Sabers though. The only Sabers that I find myself really wanting to have atm are Artoria, Charlie, and Muramasa.

Basically, anything not Charlie or Muramasa would be disappointing, and anything besides them, Ibuki, and Astolfo would be seen as a loss and a waste in my eyes.

I’m a relatively new player- since December 2023- so I’d greatly appreciate advice/insight from more veteran players 😅

Just another note:

I would really love to see a Miyuverse Shirou servant, like as an alter ego class. He could just be EMIYA (Alter) (Alter Ego)

@Kelosine I know it’s not that good of a source for the continuity, but I don’t speak Japanese and don’t have any device that can run one of the fan translations of the VN. I can’t wait for the remake later this year though.

@Kanmonia no yeah I know. I’ve had ideas for stuff like an NP rework for Emiya where he changes the field to his Reality Marble for a few turns. The marble buffs him (and maybe other variants of him like his Alter and Kuro/Chloe?), (it also changes his animations), and one of the buffs is resistance to a new trait called ‘[Gate of Babylon]’ enemies (like Gil, Gil Caster, kid Gil, and maybe Enkidu).

Also had an idea to replace one of his skills with Rho Aias, or maybe give him a passive skill based around it.

Emiya (Archer) should have a buff against EA

For people who have seen Stay Night (specifically Unlimited Blade Works), you know where I’m getting at. I feel like it would be nice since it’ll be more lore accurate, and it’s not like it’d be unbalanced. I feel Emiya (and maybe Emiya Alter..?) should either have the trait ‘weak to Enuma Elish’ removed, or gain some kind of resistance to it.

Reasons why Grand Rider should be Astolfo

We’ve already seen with Orion and Romulus that a servant can have another, ‘Grand’ version, even in the same class.

We never see Astolfo or Astolfo (Saber) during a new moon or a ‘moonless night’ in the game, when he is much more powerful (as seen in Fate/Apocrypha)
