Is just something to make you farm more in this game. Very lame as expected of fgo.
You see more of those at low levels and when your friend list is empy or almost empty. But its still possible to see some bots at high level and your friend list almost full
F/GO has always been infested with bot accounts its just that nowadays actual people log-in less so that makes the bots more visible, I believe. Also some of those could just be alt account of people that want to redo the Main story.
I don't do it, I have nothing to farm for.

I updated it through a site called apkcombo, so far its working. I don't know if its completly safe tho.

You either would have to wait till the actual APK file gets updated and install that one or get the APK file from some other place.
Oh and you need to uninstall that version of fgo you installed to make it work properly again.
