Sherlock Holmes

I know this CQ is easy, but I don't know it's THAT easy to TA.

I might as well try this on my main account.

Today I finally finished Traum, tomorrow I will be doing Traum Free Quests, to get SQ for Kama Summer.

Now the situation has become 100% serious, Lostbelt 7 already has a title.

The funniest thing was, it was Kadoc who called Sieg and Kriemhild of middle schoolers, laugh my ass off.

Thank you, now I will have the nickname Charlemagne, if I get it soon.

Damn 2 Moiartys, I don't know which one is real, it bugged my mind.

What impressed me most was the fight between Kriemhild and Siegfried, it looks like they're having a fight as a couple, and I just got involved in it.

And on top of that, I just got involved in this kind of fight, luckily I managed to do it.

Luckily Voyager managed to take them both out with Noble Phantasm.

The most tragic part was the death of Sherlock Holmes, I almost felt tears in my eyes, that I was almost going to finish crying.

He said goodbye to me, Mash and the rest of Chaldea, this almost made me avenge Sherlock Holmes' death, and that was the result.

I finally managed to avenge Sherlock Holmes' death, with the Hessian Lobo's Noble Phantasm.

The most shocking part gave me goosebumps, and I just discovered that the year the Traum Singularity takes place is 2119.

Now this left me with a question: How did Test Subject E manage to withstand 100 years of torture?

Now it's finished, the Traum Singularity, tomorrow I'll be doing Free Quest.

Oh, hey, guys! Kinda have got a few things about which I would like ask advice if you don't mind.

First and actually most annoying problem is the lores hell. Since I actually have got a plenty of servants recently and they all want's a few lores each to work the best it actually leads to lores deficit and very irritating sitution when I do have servants, but can't actully use them cause of the issue with skill level where they're really important. And the thing that makes this trouble worse, that Castoria whom I got recently ate 3 from 4 my lores (okay, that actually wasn't and option not to give them to her, but still that doesn't helps...)...

To be more precious about the lores issue I do need them for:

• Baobhan Sith - atleast 2 lores cause of 2 battery skills and in addition to this one of them is chance-based, while the last one is a kind of AoE-nope skill, so you actually will want to max it too...

• Percial - 1 lore cause of battery skill.

• Qin Lianguy - 1 lore, battery skill.

• Helena Blavatsky - 3 lores, 2 battery skill and party-buff for a support type servant.

• Kiichi Hogen - 1 lore, battery skill.

• Fionn mac Cumhail - 1 lore, chance based skill witch chage.

• Lakshmi Bai - 1 lore, chance based skills with buff success rate up skill.

• Paracelsus von Hohenheim - 3 lores, battery skill, party-buff and targetable np-gen buff for a support type servant.

• Spartacus - 1 lore, battery skill.

• Jason - 1 lore, situational battery skill (can worth it since I actually have got already).

• Salome - 1 lore, battery skill.

• Oberon (if I'll get him which is not garanteed) - 3 lores. Do I really need to comment something about him?

Even if some of them can be postoponed that's still pretty much and so pretty much a problem to raise them all... so, how can I get more lores? Is it worth to buy them for rare prisms or I should only try to get them from events? Also about events... can I have help on Nerofest exhibitions quest that give lores? Since I go really need them, but iirc on the previous similiar events I wasn't able to beat that kind of CQ.

Other question would be about FP... I kinda know that it's better to save them for Guda-guda event since it adds a rate up for CE exp and Nobukatsu who gives more coins, but... I kinda do have more of 1,154,000 FP at the moment and with the lotto near at hand I'm doubt that I will be able to comfortable roll all of them on the Guda-guda event, so I'm thinking about rolling some of them now. Won't this be a mistake?

And the last one is about Afternoon Party. I kinda want this CE cause I do find this kind of them pretty useful atleast in the theory and do already have buster and np damage versions on MLB, while the quick one is in one copy from it... but I would like to have the arts one for collection and gameplay. But the problem is that it's limited and shares banner with Koyan and Sherlock. And while option with Koyan is just excluded out of character. Sherlock option is quite more controversial. On one hand I actually like him... on other...

I actually have him and don't really need Np2. So, there are two banners where I do want to MLB 4* but don't want to get any SSR. Theoretically I can get some use from level 1 Sherlock, but I'm not a whale, so I guess there would be a better ways to use my SQ than that... with this being said, what I should do with this? Roll on the Sherlock's banner or skip it? And if I'll skip it would this CE be reruned in the future or not, so I could try to get it later?

If someone can help me with advice on at least one of the questions - thanks!

Ehm, ehm... well that's probably would be stupid questions for a brunch of reasons:

• I already play for 2 years and kinda could have come to the answers myself.

• I already have both this servants on bond 6 so also could have come to the answers myself.

• I already have asked this questions...

But despite all of this I'm still don't sure, so... I guess it won't hurt if I'll ask again... There is two questions:

1. How to use Sherlock?

2. How to use Semiramis?

Both servants are level 90, 1k/1k foued, Np1, all Strengthening Quests is done. Skils are 10/10/10 for best girl and 9/9/9 for great detective. So... how to use them? Preferably a detailed answer taking into account different sort of non-obvious ways to use them. Thanks.

And I was finally able to unlock Kotaro’s last append skill! it’ll probably be awhile before I upgrade them more because I’m super low on gold assassin gems, but having them unlocked is definitely good enough for me ^^

Bruh, a bit late in compare to others, but I did it.

This time I did it with this team... since the skills didn't get into the screenshot than, I guess I'll list their level here: 10/10/10, 10/10/10, 10/10/10, 9/9/9, 9/9/9 for my servants... all expcept Mash (NP 3) and Merlin (NP5) are NP1. Also I want to say thanks to @Eryluna for her Shi Huang Di, but... actually I didn't really need him. This CQ wasn't really hard, so... I managed to clear it relative easy without SQ, CS or even Sherlock (very last servant)...

Also to my surprise my First Hassan managed to stay alive to the very end. I actually expected him to earlier cause of caster class book, but yet he still was alive at the end of quest.

Getting this mats is nice...

As like is getting lore which is grand prize in this case.

Well, I decided to sum up Imaginary Scramble results for myself aka share my progress though event. So that's it!

Master level status:

Level 132 master! +1 Friend slot. Nice.

Mystic Code status:

Mages Asociation MC level 10 finally! I guess after that it would be nice idea to start using another MC just to level up it, but I don't really like any as much as this one. Any suggestions?

Bond levels status:

Bond 6 Anastasia! I hope her 3 SQ bring me her friend (Semiramis) since she come instead of her...

Mond 6 Yu. Well, I can't use her often since her battery still isn't max leveled, but since she had event bonus than it allowed me to level up her bond.

Bond 8 Martha! Since she was one of two my very first servants (I got her from tutorial summon alongside with Siegfried, yeah, I was reroling until Siegfried and one other gold servant) she has high bond level, but... I'm not using her really often now, but still when enemy have ennoying buff/debuff I'm happy that I have her.

P.S: also the next two bonds I raised mainly though Anastasia Lostbelt, not Imaginary Scramble, but since I did it only now, than, why not post it with all others?

Bond 8 Scathach! Always nice to get 3 SQ from your favorite servant. I hope it will bring me luck when I'll roll with it.

Bond 6 Sherlock (yeah, despite the sprite not loaded that is he)! Well, 3 SQ is nice, but... despite I somehow leveled up his bond to 6, I still don't know how to use him. How to use him?! Does anyone know?

Okay, last even was generous enough so I had to utilize enough resources. So here I want to share the result and ask... what to do with them cause some servants were chosen cause I like them and I have free mats for them. So lets go all the list:

Hey, guys! I recently realized that I'm getting SSRs faster than I'm leveling them.

It can be cause I'm lucky, ot cause I'm always out of mats. But as the result now I have 4 SSRs card on the hands with 1st level. And I need help to chose whom I should level first. I will list below this servants and servants that can may influence on the decision.

1. Osakabehime. I have mats to ascend her, but not to raise her skills. Also I don't really see reasons to level her cause... I have much better servants for each her role.

2. Jalter. Having buster damage dealer that wouldn't have class disadvantage against almost all enemies looks good, but I'm not sure that I have mats even to ascend her.

3. Sherlock Holmes. Arts-crit anyone. He can be useful as both support and damage dealer, also have pierce invul and his buffs in box would be nice. I also have mats to ascend him and level his skills.

4. Karna. AOE buster lancer. I have mats to ascend him, but not to level his skills.

Servants that may influence on the decision:

• Merlin. Arguably still the best buster support in the game. He makes Jalter and Karna much better choices. And he outshines Osakabehime as buster support.

• Tamamo. Good arts support. She should makes Sherlock better choice, but her skills in my roster is still 1/1/1.

• First Hassan. Fisrt and the only full buster assassin. One of the best assassins in the game. And he outshines Osakabehime as solo\dd assassin.

• Scathach. She is dd lancer. So she is doing the same things as Karna. He can be more useful for my roster cause he is buster, but Scathach have 2 buster cards, so she can still crit hard with Merlin. She have target quick manaburst, so she can work instead of Osakabehime as quick support, but yes she is worse than Osakabehime. On other hand, I don't have other quick servants raise so. I'm not really need quick support. Also she is ST, and Karna is AOE, but I still don't have good dd for all classes so I guess it's too eraly for me to care about ST & AOE np.

With being this said, whom I should level first and why? Thanks.

As one can see, Sherlock's 2nd skill was buffed on JP, and now he has a 50% battery on a 5T cooldown. Is it strong? Of course it is, it's a fucking 50% battery on a fucking 5T cooldown, but what does this buff do for Sherlock? Just cement his position as an eSports one-and-done type of servant that you only use when you need the ignore invulnerability and/or the ignore defense.

I've tried to make Sherlock work in many teams. I've raised all of his skills to LV 10, Mana Loading to LV 10, even raised Hot Springs Under the Moon to LV 50 just for him; and I've noticed that he has two major drawbacks:

1. There's not enough content that requires him. Hardly ever will you see a boss that skyrockets defensive buffs or spams invulnerability to the point where you can't do the quest without Sherlock or with very select teams and craft essences; and this makes perfect sense, as it would be extremely unfair to everyone that doesn't have access to him or doesn't have a robust account to handle it.

2. Sherlock is split between being a crit-based ST DPS and a crit support, and he doesn't do any of these roles well enough to justify his presence over a meta support or a normal DPS.

So, what do I think Lasagna (I'll never be able to call them by the real name) should've done? Let us consider his role as a crit support. First of all, generating stars through command cards is undesirable because of the RNG involved, and Sherlock himself is not a good enough star generator. Second, Sherlock is geared towards Arts servants, which naturally aren't good star generators, except very few outliers. Third, 2030 is not good enough as a solution, as Sherlock has around 100 star weight and you need all three servants to have it equipped to generate a decent sum of stars. Furthermore, this reduces the survivability and the damage of your team. Hence, I affirm that Sherlock desperately needed a 20 stars bomb on his NP or a 10 stars per turn regen (3T) on any of his skills.

The previous buff suggestions would solve most of his issues as a support, but would make him a decent pick at best. To really make him a good servant, his 2nd skill would also need to be buffed. How? Simple: make it targetable and lasting for 3 turns, since sustained damage is better than burst damage by virtue of the break bars. Want to buff someone else? Target them with the 2nd skill and provide stars with the 1st. Got his cards on a chain? Cool, target himself and baritsu on the enemies.

With these two little changes, he would be able to perform as a support and as a DPS. Notice that his kit would get significantly closer to Super Orion's and QSH's, and for good reason, since these two are the primary examples of what a crit DPS should do, but Sherlock would still retain his identity as a universal crit ENABLER, whereas he currently is only a crit BOOSTER.

I do agree with Lasagna's approach to give batteries to everyone, as this has proven to separate wheat from chaff, but in Sherlock's case they missed by a mile, at least in my opinion.

Why do FGO really like to pair Holmes and Moriarty in the same story?

So, now that all the coins are out correctly, I’m working on append skills of course - and I’m having an incredibly difficult time deciding! There’s seven servants I’m struggling with (sorry for how many.)

Note, Kijyo Koyo and Edmond Dantes are the only ones here who aren’t bond 10, so they’re the only ones I can guaranteed get more coins for.

I’ve heard that Mana Loading is best for AOE NPs and Supports while Extra Boost is best for Solos or ST NPs, is that a good rule to follow? Or at least in regard to these servants, since I only have enough for one each? Sherlock is sort of both, so should I go Extra Boost like with QSH or lean into the support with Mana Loading?

Alternatively for Yan Qing and Ozymandias, since they’re already at 100 should I plan to grail them a little bit instead of an append skill? I could manage a single append and extra grail for Ozy, but Yan Qing not so much.

I know it’s a few servants to consider and I’m sorry about that, but thanks for any advice!
