The first one is especially good. I think it'd make a nice one shot manga adaptation similar to Okita's. Hell, including the 2nd Interlude would make it the perfect length.

Makes me really wish I had my own copy of him. He's so cool, and smug, and wise. And I love mentors/teacher figures.

I think people are mostly correct wtih their comments about the 2nd one being a Mandricardo Interlude, but there was enough involvement of Li during the beginning and end for it to be a solid Interlude for him, I just wish there was just a little more input from him in the middle segments.

I'll be spoiling Mandricardo's Interlude and Atlantis so...yeah. spoiler warning. And this is going to be long so bare with me.

If I'm understanding this right, Mandricardo doesn't feel as though he can "live up" to his Atlantis counterpart. His Interlude is one of which that questions the mentality of Servants summoned in the Singularity/Lostbelts against the ones in Chaldea. Same person different memories.

Those memories in Atlantis he feels are not his, which, is technically right. And he doesn't feel comfortable using those memories as a basis for his relationship with his Master. Fine. That's cool and I understand where he's coming from. Formulate a new connection under different circumstances.

What I fail to understand is near the end where Mandricardo concludes that there's too much emotional baggage between the two of them to be friends, and the two of them are okay with it because caring about someone doesn't mean you have to be friends with them.

Now, at first I was pleasantly surprised by this outcome and proud of Mandricardo for getting such difficult feelings out. But this exchange made me think: Okay, then who does Guda consider a friend? Where are the boundaries between a friendly, amicable Servant that Guda vibes with and a friend that happens to be a Servant?

The Interlude ends with Mandricardo and the Atlantis crew recalling their views on their Atlantis selves boiling back to "Yeah, Guda is going to be okay even though they constantly lose companions"

I just pity Guda at this point. Cause if we take those words at face value, does Guda have any friends? Any equals? We know Guda will treat the Servant the same way regardless of what happens in the main story and vise versa. But to me, it's not just about "being okay" it's about creating and maintain a deeper connection that goes beyond the surface level interactions. Doesn't Guda want that?

Overall, it's a really good Interlude. I think it's one of the better examples of Guda being her own individual because I damn well did not feel the same as she did at the end of it.

This marks the end of my farming at Imaginary Scramble. The event is really fun, and I really enjoying it. Anyway, let's Get started.

First one is Romulus. Finally, I manage to 9/9/9 him. I'll probably give him 1-2 lores in the future, but for now, this will do. I just need to farm more coins for him, open all his append skills, and max them too.

Next one, Mandricardo. This event gives me quite many Void Dust and Fool's Chains, so why not give him a proper leveling up this time? His append still stuck at 4/4/-, and I think I'm gonna focus to other rider first, especially since he's already bond 10.

YES! LET'S GO! After NP 5 and open 2 append skills, now I finally max Cu Caster skills. I will make him 10/10/10 soon when he get his buffs at Avalon Le Fae, so I'm looking forward to it.

With this, now I only need to max Proto Cu's skill. It's okay, Proto Cu, I will max your skill level soon. Just you wait. Anyway, now full focus to Heian-Kyo. The fight will quite challenging, so I think I'm gonna prepare for the best.

So, lately I was rewatching some of my favorite scenes from Lostbelts, and I noticed something interesting that I didn't before. The pose that Mandricardo did when he was about to fire Reve de Durandal, is a reference to Artoria's Excalibur pose from visual novel. I guess most of y'all noticed that already, but I think it's still a pretty cool reference to 2004 visual novel and something worth mentioning
