Demeter (Enemy)

I was looking forward to rematch Demeter (thought she was the hardest fight in Olympus) only to not have to fight her in this 'Road to' series

We're limited to three fights and I have no qualms about who they picked. The Caenis fight was easy, so was Aphrodite if you bring debuff remove/block specialists... the Demeter fight would have been more of a challenge with 1M+ HP bars

I was not sure if she could do it but she did. Kinda good servant.

I maxed my lvl 1 chen's battery append today that's why decided to try it.

I'll keep the fight tho, want to try more things.

He pairs really well with Himiko.

Purely because of Demeter, I’m gonna choose Ozymandias over Tamamo or Waver and idgaf about support meta, I want to fucking continue the damn story. Time to farm Chains ecksdee

... Yeaaaah bad CE choices I know. For those who have Martha, is highly reccomended to bring her at this battle alongside with Alexander. It provides heal + buff removal + debuff removal.

Why the fuck would you design a boss that spams Damage Cut, 50,000 HP restore, and Debuff Immunity? I get that it’s supposed to be hard but when I have to spend 4 SQ just to have her permanently restore herself to 200,000 HP every turn no matter what I do, something is wrong.

I thought I was prepared for this lostbelt, but this one battle is proving me wrong :v. I keep getting super close to beating it but I end up losing to its NP and I really don't know what to do against it. Is there a team I can possibly make (preferably using Rider Astolfo) out of my servants that can help me beat it?

Last turn as shown here, you can tell I was just really over it and went full-on fuck it and stacked their NP, Ryouma being the last in the chain.

Thanks to help of some friends I was able to clear it vs the 40-turn one I had earlier. Now I'll be on my way to blast more boss fights.

I’m not one of those 3T or not-using-command-code/SQ masters/strategists though 😅 (had to wait 1 year into JP to be able to get thru Demeter with Castoria from Avalon Banner 2). Anyway, good luck with beating these epic bosses again, guys. You can do it! 💪

This was the hardest fight ever lol. This is tougher than many of the challenge quests that we get. I'm preparing my NA for this shit. Every main story boss fight before this is a fucking joke in comparison.

And the Tam Vitch and Aphrodite fight that happens after is also an absolute joke of a fight after going through this.

Had to put up with so much BS.

Caenis is basically dead weight here. But still, I always managed to use my riders (Ushi, Alex, Ricky) and Asclepius to get to the 3rd bar, by which point where they would all die. Then Taira had to clean up an entire health bar and half all by herself with nothing but Atlas. She was my only option that wouldn't die right away.

Taira really isn't the best clean up here at all.

Her neutral damage is a pain to work with. Everything had to line up perfectly for this to work. I basically HAD to get her NP during Demeter's omega defense turn since her NP does buff removal before damage. Otherwise I would go 3 turns doing virtually no damage and the run would fail. I wish I had the RP to buy the reason of creation CC. Would've been pretty good here I imagine.

This run required so much good RNG with the crits, NP gain and damage roll. I don't think I could ever imitate this if I tried it again lol. Had to save scum during the Taira bit so many times.

The clean up would have been so much more consistent if I had Herc. I regret not rerolling for him.

Now ZETE is the only big hurdle left. Luckily, unlike this fight where Taira really isn't the best cleanup unit, she'd probably be incredible there.
