Technically Ciel is not really "gets swimsuits" she was a new servant that just happened to come in the summer events. Just like summer Morgan/Eresh, they have a different backlash. Shiki gets a swimsuit years after she came out, so that seems fair.

Altria is different, she is the icon face of the whole brand. Like Pikachu or Mickey Mouse, of course she has a special treatment.

Business-wise, the male swimsuit(especially the low rarity ones) should be chosen from the most popular characters, so that they can generate more revenue from acrylic keyholders. They only get a costume in game, the keyholders are their main contribution. So Bartholomew was a good candidate, Teach was not really that much. Cu is probably somewhere between them, not as good as let's say Takasugi(has a good fan base, high rarity so can have his own gatcha and extract money from players as well as the merchs) or Sanson(own fans, low rarity but looks good in acrylic). After Caster Cu, summer Lancer Cu probably can't do as well in merchs.

Nah, who cares about fan wars? The most important thing is getting as much money as possible. Cu variants are popular, so they should do that. Besides, I'm a FGO player, so of course my opinions and preference is matters.

Once you make them into acrylics, Caster or Lancer doesn't matter that much any more. They have more differences between CEs.

True. I'm talking about pure games perspective. Since they're bringing all servants into rate up banner, might as well throw some bonus to make people more happy. Cu costumes is one of them, IMO.

Again you love it does not mean people are gonna love it. Exist in the anime series does not mean exist in the game, to make it happen in the game takes effort, and with this effort they could make a costume for someone else. And the fans of that "someone else" are aware of it. It is like spending tax money on something, of course there will be people complaining "you should spend them where I like" so you'd better spend them to please the majority, or to the poorest ones.

People are still playing it because their disagreement is not big enough to make them leave. Just like how you complain about you hate your work or your country sucks, doesn't mean you will leave your job or emigrate soon.

Swimsuit Medusa would be my fav pick amongst popular chars. But what i would REALLY like is swimsuit Semiramis. Man she would look so good with twintails, ponytail, braids or freely flowing long hair.
