As the owner of the Medusa Saber obtained in June, as the 1st Servant of 2025, with 3 Summon tickets, I think it's very good and recommended.

That's why I choose Medusa Saber as Grand Saber, even though I have the CE from the current event, it would increase the damage when activating the 1st Skill that contains Curse when attacking with Quick.

The 2nd Skill would be a good option to stop using Petrification (Stun) if you have it at level 10.

Well, as a Medusa simp, I use her (though I do it rarely now, since I only have her on my NA account, and I play on it very infrequently these days). If I were in your place, I would first focus on a more important servant and make Medusa a secondary goal, waiting for her banner. Well, as an option, you could just spend a small amount of Saint Quartz—what if you get lucky? I, for example, limited myself to minimum SQ.

She's very bang-for-buck and has a high damage ceiling. Before getting her, my only ST 5* Saber was the Trung Sisters.

They're meant for longer fights, and aren't that great at pushing damage.

Medusa is very nice to have because of how quickly she'll push out the damage you need, with not just her NP, but her crits too. Her performance in the Saber Grand Duels is unmatched for that very reason.

I’d say she is a good contender for best single target saber. But if you don’t especially want her, and just want a good saber, Iori is another option as a very good saber who will come out. He’s a welfare so you can get him for free.

She is a top tier single target saber. Must have, no. I summoned a pair of her just because of waifu reasons. She has a lot of competition out there whether it's saber, pretender, or zerk servants since we have Phantasmoon coming out in a year and 3 months and she is very impressive with a split 50% battery with 30% going to all teammates as well as herself and then there's Bakatoria. If she ever gets a buff she could be catapulted forward, but we don't know if she'll get buffed or not.

Both versions of Castoria are better than her for an account. Castoria support is the best servant, any account with her improves a ton. Summer Castoria is one of if not the best single target servant in the game she can be used against basically anything including foreigners since they are often threat to humanity and Castoria gives damage bonus against threat to humanity.
