I completed the entire story and the Ordeal Call 4 having only Merlin.

How will you do that when you'll almost always have to pick a Support Servant?

Also, whattabout the Olga Marie Quests?

How will you get Oberon to that level with a lack of Servant Coins, QP, & EXP? All of which is really hard to attain for getting level.

I'll just find a way ( that's what most fate main characters do)

Oh... So the original Jeanne d'Arc and Leonardo da Vinci (Ruler) are considered supports? If so, then I cleared everything up to Ordeal Call 2 using only Merlin.

Interesting, but he'd be pretty horrible on his own. I'd be surprised if you got very far. Between his 3rd skill being useless outside of a finishing move, being useless against 3 of the main classes, and having a weak NP that is awkward due to giving the enemies invul, I see lots of problems with this challenge, but good luck.

Hm, this is personal opinion.

DPSing him is fine, but his NP gives invincible to enemies.

And you can't use his 3rd skill on himself for buster looping on first or second turn wave, cause it knock your servant out for 3 turns. And removes buffs.

So, he isn't that helpful in dps, and if he isn't a dps, 120ing him is a waste of resources.

And as someone said above, you can't win FGO with one type of class alone, so you definitely need multiple class multiple servants, atleast currently it's required for Olga Quests.

Synopsis, you need him definitely for perfect buster looping, but not as dps.
