I didn't know there is a word for that. In my Chaldea we just say the angel.
If we don't have any critical hit, we are doomed! → Gives critical with only 20%. We won.
If we don't have enough damage, we are doomed! In fact, I am not sure if a Brave Chain can save us or not. → 5 command cards all from Phantom, when there are 3 servants on the frontline. We won.
Just one more turn and we can kill the boss, but there's no defensive methods left and the boss is going to launch a big attack! → Phantom survived it with a few hundred HP. We won.
All the critical stars had went to Phantom and if he gives a critical the enemy will sure die, but we need more NP for Merlin/Andersen. → No critical despite 80% critical rate, healers got NP.
NO! Anastasia(Lv.1) is on the frontline! I can't have her killed! → Phantom took all 3 enemy Caster attacks for her. We won, Natsya survived. I really don't like it happen again.
1-4 above happened multiple times. That's how he earned most of his grails, he delivered more than everybody else and it just seemed unfair not to grail him at the time.
BTW. My anti-clutch seems to be Fionn. He was one of my first 5 servants too, but the worst. He can comfortably miss a critical with 80%, especially when facing a boss. He misses all the evasions at important occasions, and usually leaves a few dozen of HP to the enemy, causing us trouble. I can imagine he probably did the same thing when he attempted to save Diarmuid: He probably just missed it as he always does.
