I only had one alt account. More would be too much for me. My alts are nice and the longest I played was more than two years. I was grailing Gareth to level 120 but I dropped the account. It was good mental training for my main account, though.

I have a new alt account on the NA server but that is only for having a security when I would loose my main account.

Many JP players I know are having multiple JP accounts because they get bored of the new update speed.

Some multilingual players are playing in another language, say a JP player building a new account in English, for example, to see how their favourite characters speak in another language.

I once had another JP account just to boost my FP, coz some damn sadists, despite having a low rarity with only two stars, refused to come after 1M FP. And I was driven mad by him at the time.

Content creators also have alt accounts so they can replay any part of the story, aka boss fights, with new servants for comparrison

I've made like 3 JP accounts, 2 of them in the past and completely abandonned, and I made one this week so I can practice my Japanese, but I haven't found time to really start. I really just want some Japanese practice for this account, and maybe play casually while grailing some servants I wouldn't grail on NA

Started a JP account, so I've got enough SQ, if Hisui/Kohaku/Akiha or an SSR Medea ever get released.

It's no account for keepers (I give it away regularly), but it's nice seeing new servants early.

Sorry to inform you but it is very unlikely there will be anymore Medeas, or Carmillas, or Jing Kes, to get released.

It's so people can experience new stuff usually. I started JP right before anni 7 and Arcueid dropped because I was bored with NA and knowing everything that was coming 2 years in advance that I couldn't touch on NA for a while. On NA I just sit on quartz waiting for servants like Phantasmoon to maximize them on NA since my NA is the one with the level 100 black grail while on JP all I have is the one copy from anni 7 CE selector still haven't seen another. Have level 60 phantasmal princess and level 80 rising mud rain though after all this time.
