The detailed script for this Double Damage Dealer Setup is shown in overlay during the video, but you can also use other primary DPS with super effective NP to pair with the backline Ibuki (which is the best secondary DPS to bring overall to deal NP damage to Crane through her damage resist).
For example Kukulcan, Eresh, Koyan Dark, Gilgamesh, Tesla all have super effective NP against all enemies (Eresh also having class advantage on Sith), while Arcueid and Caren NPs cover only Sith and Galatea so they will need crits to break Crane
PS: there are other units with special damage buffs against all enemies with also partial class advantage, but to bypass Crane’s damage resistance you ideally want to bring super effective NPs for better damage scaling).
The other prevalent strategy is using a Single Core Super Effective NP Setup focusing on a single damage dealer that can deal enough NP damage on turn 2 without using Oberon: once again Ibuki is the mvp, followed by Eresh who will demolish both Sith and Galatea (while refunding with her amazing Arts card).
With this strategy you don’t have to trigger multiple Guts for Crane on turn 2, since on the final turn your DPS can focus all its facecards on Crane, given that its NP (buffed by Oberon) will obliterate the field.
In my case this setup using Ibuki (mine or support) as the only DPS has higher RNG for both damage and facecards: with the best team comp of Rider Carmilla (MLB Record Holder), Miss Crane (Star Bomb CE), Xu Fu, Lady Avalon (Bond CE is not available in my case), Castoria (MLB Golden Carp), Summer Ibuki (MLB Black Grail or 5* Event Bonus Damage CE), the damage RNG on turn 2 is 75% chance with support Ibuki (NP5 MLB Damage CE) and 50% with my own Ibuki (grailed NP2 MLB Black Grail), while getting at least one Ibuki card on turn 2 and at least two on turn 3 without reshuffling the deck (two hits of solemn defense protect the team) is 49.1%.
As you can see both RNG chances are lower compared to my double Ibuki comp showed in the video: furthermore, this single core comp is using Miss Crane and Lady Avalon for max damage on turn 2, which I feel are more “rare” compared to Oberon and Summer Ibuki (considering how the players rolls).
Finally, there is one more strategy which is by far the most interesting one, but also heavy on the RNG side, the Single Core Buster Crit Triple Taunt Setup: it relies on the 12.5% chance of Miss Crane using her taunt skill (“Overnight Haori B”) on turn 1 after break, that is after you have inflicted her with Archer Osakabehime taunt (“Princess Summer Vacation Fake A” ); on top of that you need to draw three cards of your DPS on turn 2 and two cards on turn 3 (brave chain with NP).
If all goes well, you can use for example Arjuna Alter buster brave chain on turn 2 and since all three enemies are taunted, he will change target with every facecard (after he breaks/kills each of the enemies) extra attack included.
This is also the strategy with the most compact team, since you only need Archer Osakabehime, Arjuna Alter and double Koyan for example, but good luck landing the RNG needed!
