Ouch... (×﹏×)
Honestly, Transfer code is overhated af. You don't need to make account or do anything, you just create password and the game will generate the transfer code. After that, just copy, paste, and save the transfer code and password to a safe place. No need to made account, no need to worry about different device (Android to IOS or vice versa). It's simple, and yet people hating it, for God's sake.
Don't need to worry about single use code issues. Any problems, you need to deal with support. Account recovery? Most sites already have that automated.
I'd never use the aniplex thing anyway. I'll stick with the Google backup/4 files method if needed.
I have a question about the 4 files method.
I tried it once, but when I launched the game on the new device, it had the Part 1 Title Screen. It was showing my Player ID, but the Old Title screen sorta freaked me out, and I thought I might lose my progress if I log in.
I tried using the Transfer Code on the new device, and it said the app was already carrying the account.
Basically, is the Part 1 title screen normal? Can I just log in there?
@GudakoAlter61 I think it's fine. I redownloaded the game recently and I was also freaked when I tried to input my code only to be told by the game it was already the right account, and I also had the Part 1 title screen.
After you tapping on the old title screen and regaining all your account's data, the title screen did change the next time you opened the app, right? (・・;)ゞ
In my case, it did. I redownloaded the game on the very same device though, but I think if ou see that message, it should be fine even if you see the part 1 title screen
When switching devices, redownloading the app on the new device is crucial for a smooth experience. You may not need it, but I never had any issues this way.
It's kinda like when you install new drivers, using DDU first lowers the chance of complications lol
I had to factory reset my tablet last year and after restoring the Google backup, it showed the part 1 screen at first, but then changed after logging in once.
What do you think?
