I only grail favorites, but with a small emphasis on Gameplay. For example, I grailed Tamamo summer instead of Tamamo because well, a lvl 120 Tamamo isn't particularly useful. However, I'll certainly grail OG to 100 now that Summer is getting to 120 soon. I also don't really care about balance; I grailed 4 different sabers (Saber, Shiki, Bedivere and Altera) and not a single Archer yet. Although now that we're getting a lot of grails, I'm thinking of giving some more gameplay grails to servants that I obviously love, but not as much as my favorites, like Fran, Atalante ou Mélusine.

As you can see from my list, I grailed some pretty damn bad (okay, only Angra is really bad in the list I guess) or average servants.

• Kojiro 70 (an early FGO mistake)

• Bedivere 90 (Might push him to 100 some day)

• Shiki Saber, Altera, Illya, Circe, Nobu Summer, Angra 100

• Shiki Assassin (106, need coins), Tamamo summer (116, missing grails)are on their way to 120

• Arcueid, Medusa, Saber and Van Gogh are lvl 120.

Besides Cu Alter I only grail SRs (but that's because 90% of my favorites happen to be SRs) or below.

(Summer BB is NP5 so if I ever get a last copy, might go 120 cause I enjoy BBs character.

Only other SSR so far I could see myself grailing to 120 if I ever get her enough is KazuraDrop.

Also No Name Assassin if she's released as a SSR in Strange/Fake collab, but the chances are close to none for her to be an SSR, if she's ever implemented in the first place)

I just think SSRs are fine as they are and don't really need the boost, so in my mind, SRs benefits for grailing way much in terms of raw stats (I'm sure they're exceptions somewhere)

But same as you it's about favorite units first and foremost; gameplay be damned. It's just a nice bonus when the gameplay is also fire.

Love grailer, because my only 120 grails are bedivere, gong, morgan and (soon) tlaloc. Arguments could be made for gong and morgan since they are really strong servants, but I only 120 based on my favorite servants

I grail all of my favorites, but not every servant I grail is a favorite. They are all servants I like a lot though. All favorites immediately get grailed to 100. The rest of the ones I grail only go past 90 if they can be particularly beneficial in farming (Melusine, Iyo and Dragon Liz are some examples of that). I never go past 100 on anybody. I'd never grail a servant I don't like, and I can only think of 3 servants I'd ever grail purely for gameplay. Those would be Arash, Chen Gong, and Cu Caster, but I can't see a situation that would make me take that step.

He likes his Jeannes, Karna, Morgan and Faker. Sometimes I wonder if he can strategies to win a quest. But it is a good thing that he doesn't have or want a meta support. That means he is using his brain :p

After max grailing my Waifu, I grailed another one partway, because I like her, two others because of fameplay and then resumed grailing servant, I like, but also recognize as pretty strong or useful.

Lately, with the abundance of exp cards we've been getting, i stopped grailing servants on a whim, but instead set myself some targets for 120 (who also result out of a mixture of gameplay and fondness).

Up to now, I didn't like a servant of rarity two or lower enough, to invest grails. Too much aee needed there and the final stats are too lacking.

I have grailed Cú and David for gameplay, but since then only waifus.

It's a mixture of love and gameplay related reasons I guess.

I also know I'm kind of a 'completionist' in the games I play so I set myself the goal of having a full L100 support pages filled with servants I love before they introduced L120, then a full page of L120 servants for now.

Gameplay influenced me a lot in the beginning because my early game hard carry all got some grails pretty soon: L90 Gawain, L100 Herc and Ishtar.

I know have three L120 servants out of nine. Next year might bring me at least one or two more but let's see... I also really need to go ham on the upcoming lottos to keep on supplying servant coins to the grail casting system lol

I have Grailed my servent by their Background Story, Characteristics, Design and Overall Favouritism so far I have Grailed- Arjuna (Alter), Rama, Karna,Kama, Jinako Carigiri, Orion, Old man of Mountain, Parvati, Melusine, Reines so far this is my Grailed roster.
