As a Nightingale owner (currently 9/9/9), wouldn't mind seeing even if I'm not likely to try myself. Already bullied Fionn more than enough. :P

The first one used Honey Lake, but the crit damage is so over saturated that I realized even my non MLB LImited Zero Over would be better. The RNG consists of Van Gogh dying, two defense downs landing, getting the right cards turn 3. This is the best case scenario for all of that happening. And the simulator doesn't account for the 30% special damage down, so multiply by 1.3.

Yep, just like what I thought. Change Gogh to other servants (Archer or Berserker is better), put the taunt CE on them. And boom, the luck required is greatly reduced. In fact, it's Nightingale that should go at the back of the field. You're "gambling" too much.

What would be the point of using a vastly inferior setup for a max damage run? I'm genuinely curious about that. If the goal is simply clearing the quest it's perfectly fine. That's what my 1 turn Santa Karna run was for. But a max damage run usually requires a much more complex setup where things can go wrong when it's specifically for crit damage, which this quest is good for because of the NP special defense. Might try with some Sabers too for fun, but the reason I Used Nightingale was she almost never sees use so I wanted a highlight for her.

Poor Nightingale. Santa Archer welfare does better thanks to her support skills, but Berserker does get ignored a lot of the time. I used her in one of the current quests at least. But even then, only because I forgot I had Merlin. :P

Won't be trying this run for sure, no Gogh. :(

Van Gogh contributed 85% atk up and 50% crit up, so yeah, not easily replaceable, but waver, and slightly less so Caster Skadi would come close and Merlin (who I don't have) would be better than Koyan so the setup I used is definitely not the best, but might be the best for my roster. I'm actually not sure there's any Berserker better than Nightingale for this though, which is ironic because she's not often thought of as a DPS. Possibly Raikou or Ibuki but I don't have either.

Using inferior setup is better when less luck is involved. No point doing something that cannot be replicated or really difficult to replicate, since people won't really interested in that. Van Gogh can be replaced by servants like Chiron or Berserker Bunyan. They can easily get defeated by Fionn, so less luck involved and easier run.

As they said, they were pushing for maximum damage. The fight was already beaten so this was for showing off and using rarely touched servants. Some times you need luck to get the big number attempts to give you what you need, be that multiple Busters on the first turn or something else.

I already tried it multiple Times. Didn't work, so I settled for switching the damage dealer to the back of the field. As long as they deal 750k damage, it's good.
