Well, you see, when I open various forums and screenshots of new servants are shown at every step (especially those that I want, but to a lesser extent), a feeling of envy and a desire to get them take over me. Then I spend everything I've accumulated in vain. And a scolding from my conscience. This recently happened with Charlemagne.

That's exactly not how to save SQ. Feeling Jealousy over someone else rolls in a single player game like FGO isn't gonna help at all. Convice yourself that you have your own plan and you won't get baited by other people's rolls or new servants.

Simply go into hiding when events like these occur.

Well the answer is simple; just dont roll haha. but its no joke, i usually go saving mode if my team is complete. and if there's a certain servant i need, i just roll few or more.

The highest i can save was probably 660sq(2 yrs ago). that was the time where i got super lucky with Archetype/Earth; with exactly 660sq in total. NP5+ 1 more copy to get her lvl 120/3 max append skills.

So yea, just dont roll even if you're jealous and all. the best ones tends to be on the hardcore events/stories

Otherwise no I don't need to save a lot. The most I saved the last times was 300 SQ. I can feel the game code. That feeling is telling me that I will get a desired servant or CE. No joke.

Currently saving for Britomart, i'm at 480sq and 21tix rn, not that much but with the anniversary coming up (NA) and random campaigns i'll have like 1200 sq and 80 tix for her.

But for the most i ever saved, it was Galatea, saved 830sq and 100tix, only got her np1 initially (still mad about that), "luckily" i got a 2d copy later with interlude/rank up sq. At least i got her on other banners, so now she's np4 (i wouldn't have need to do that if i just had normal luck on her initial banner tho)

Oh, and as for resisting temptation, i just tell myself that i NEED to save to make sure i get my target to a good np lvl. Basically.

I’m fully F2P and I have one NP6 and NP5 SSR. The most I’ve saved is 5.6k SQ. The key to saving loads of SQ is to not have any target servant. I woke up one day and thought, “man it’d be cool if I had my own NP5 servant” and started from there.

About 3400 Quartz saved right now, which is my highest ever. Saving is easy for me because other than a few tickets here and there, I only roll for my absolute must have servants, which there aren't a lot of. Also, I never roll for dudes so that takes away a lot of potential temptation by itself.

Currently saving for 9th anni servant or Summer 9, depending on who appears. If it's Camazotz, then I'll roll for anni unless Summer Kuku shows up, and if it's neither I'm waiting for 10th anni. I'm unfortunately kinda broke rn cuz I took a few months break from FGO (not playing any content but still logging in daily and crafting apples), but I managed to save up 120 quartz recently.

I resist the temptation to gacha because I want one of my favourite LB7 servants at NP2+, though my current sum of quartz is small. However, I only save quartz and I use up all my tickets.

Don’t resist, just summon a little if you like the servant. I like to use my tickets on servants I like spur of the moment, but save SQ for future servants I really like or would greatly benefit having.
