What's Your Opinion About 3 Weeks Events?

I personally really enjoy it to some extent. I usually can't clear the event shop in my second account, but now I can easily clear the event shop in my second and third account except for Monuments.

Since the events is also quite long, I'm feel a bit relaxed and can enjoy do other things rather than focusing to farm here. As long as you have something else to do other than playing FGO, imo 3 weeks event is a good thing. Of course, that's also depends on the event itself (Grail Front for example is best only for one week).

Horrible. Big L for the players for 3 reasons:

1 - The frequency of events drops, which means there's more dead time. And if you think dead time is good, you don't care that much about the game anyway (which I think is a good thing).

2 - The farming in FGO is not enjoyable by itself, therefore, increasing the amount of time it takes for a player to clear the shop actually degrades the experience overall.

3 - The event stories were not expanded to require the 3 weeks to be read. People get done with the story in the same time they always did, but now they have to wait more time until the next and they cannot redo it next year if they missed. Rerun events are kinda like dead time if you cleared them in the first run after all.

1. I enjoy dead weeks because I have other things to do aside of FGO. For example, last night I was watching Singapore GP and it was a blast. I don't mind putting FGO aside to do something else and I also have more time to do real life stuff, which is the most important thing to do.

2. If you play FGO everyday, sure this is not ideal. But like I said, not everyone can play FGO everyday. I think when I finally get a job, I don't think I'll play FGO as intense as now (assumed I still playing FGO), so having more time to chill is a good idea in general. Not to mention if people are late starting the events, so having more time to catch up is a good thing.

3. I think it's true and not at the same time. It's just like you have one week for main story and two weeks to farm rather than one week for main story and one week to farm. This also aligns with the 1st and 2nd point.

Dead weeks are useful to catch up on QP, EXP and the forever short materials to work on newer servants. I'm currently looking at Summer Sei (need to farm 10 Berserker Pieces) and Summer Okita Alter (need to farm 41 Homunculus Babies). Maybe I won't use them much, but they would be easy to level up to their caps once I have the mats and QP. And Okita Alter can replace Suzuka Gozen on my support list, don't really need two AoE Buster Sabers there, not with Altera being so powerful (only need QP now so I can give her Lores).

This old gacha game should be a side chick. Not a waifu. It's the type of game you play casually, pick up and have fun for half an hour then get back to your main squeeze - whether that's another gacha, another game, or life outside gaming

FGO's GP hasn't changed since it released way back then. You know how long ago that was?

Barack Obama was still the U.S. President. Barca won the Champions League. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the top-selling movie. Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" was the most popular song.

The world of gacha gaming has evolved quite significantly since. So as much as I love FGO for its straightforward gameplay, old school (rather outdated) interface, and enjoyable characters... there are a lot of other stuff out there.

I personally found the event enjoyable, but too long. I cleared the shop a week ago and did not put much extra effort into it. Story was alright, albeit pretty predictable and the side stories weren't as entertaining this time(loved Summer 5).

I also mainly play gacha games, eventhough I have an Xbox Series X, PS4 and a Switch. Just can't be bothered playing anything else at the moment.

@Nanophobia I disagree that people aren't playing anymore. I get dozens of Friend Support usage daily. Maybe there is something wrong with your setup?

Same thing. I already cleared event shop one week ago, so I'm just chilling. I don't mind the events is longer because it's actually for other people, not for us. I can just rest or do something else.

Don't like them because they significantly reduce the number of events throughout the year. Including the upcoming one, JP has had only 7 events this year, which is way down compared to NA this year.

At that year, hopefully I will get a job, so it turns out really nicely. When I have more things to do in real life, the game just makes it easier and more chill to finish those events, so it's really good.
