It used to be the jolly class where to spawn alter variants or ambiguous charas. Now with pretender being a thing, that class is more likely to receive those made up servants with intricate stories. Hence some "slice of life not emo" servants are bound to shuffle in between.

Not that it's entirely through.. but I think that might be related to relevant servants like Spishtar and Kagekiyo being too strong for present devs(in terms of outcreep potentials=desirability of new servants=assured whaling).

But I'm just making stuff up👐

For all we know they literally just roll a dice to determine some of those deep servants classes under Lasengle.

First Avenger (not in FGO, true) was Angra, he's been there all the time, who IMO embodies WAY BETTER than Dantes the Avenger class.

And he wasn't that angry in Hollow/Ataraxia, so cannonicaly it's still logical I guess?

We have Fake Benkei Lancer-Not Pretender since year 1, Assassin/Berserker Jekyll/Hyde-not Alter Ego since year 2, non Eldritch terrors being Foreigner, cities and meteorites being actual servants...
