Was wondering what people thinks of the "dead year" after the lostbelt 6, where's the content is basically gets pretty bland and uninteresting for awhile, and I even heard that the tunguska singularity basically sucks from the JP players side (which I actually pretty excited about cause the challenge quest is fun when I'm doing it on JP), what's your opinion on this? cause so far in another platform, I only heard sane people saying only negative stuffs on the content in a year time, or at least until lb7 gets released

Asking people cause I only play JP as a "test server", where I just mindlessly roll gacha (and experience the servant, see if I actually wanted them), and play the event and story without caring for it in the slightest, cause I always wanted to experience them fully when it rolls on NA

Agreed. They'll probably go for FGO 2 maybe as an hack and slash like FGO Arcade.

@Karl Briganti honestly if Star Rail came out to the PlayStation on top of the announced PlayStation Portal… might be tough to keep going here.

Next Summer is my big target with Femlin and co. I want to play LB7 too but it’s few and far in between. A lot of FGO now is just to appease my ADHD as mentioned.

The thing about year 7 is that FGO's event frequency has dropped significantly since year 4. Year 5 was understandable because it's right when covid hit, but they never really picked up the pace afterwards. Then, on year 7, we had about 1 event per month and only 1 main story realease (Traum). Let me remind you that the events were stretched to last 3 weeks rather than 2, but their stories did NOT get longer or more complex to warrant the extension. Also, devs were advertising LB7 for the whole fucking year with that road to 7 campaign while only launching those miserable advanced quests to fill in the gaps. Then, at the end of the year they announce that LB7 would be delayed. That got people furious, and rightfully so.

NA in general sucks you have to wait two years from now to get a fucking buff for a servant "like yay i love using a worse version of a character wich impacts my gameplay experience negatively" or just in general i for one dont gaf about anything that will happen within the next year it's all just filler to me and JP keeps getting W after W with each update

FGO still prints money and is probably one of the most culturally relevant mobages in Japan so its more likely I will end up losing interest in the game before it actually dies, especially with how they're managing the game at the moment; they really dropped the ball with 8th anni adding no meaningful changes/improvements expected of an anniversary event in addition to things that many others have brought up (axing reruns in favor of overly drawn out 3 week events, lack of much needed AUs, lack of replayable content etc.).

As kind of a response to the comment above, it would be amazing if NA started bringing JP buffs early on a more common basis; they're perfectly capable of doing it seeing what they did with Dantes recently.

@Kokolebok And that's one more issue. Because in an ideal world one would use se that to catch up at least 1 year. We'd still get clairvoyance but we'd also get updates faster. But I don't trust whoever is in charge for NA even one tad bit on that regard.

The real problem is that they fix very little of what needs to be done. They only listen to players when it comes to what content of the game they want most in anime/movie format, or what chara is most beloved to splash at ppl with very little expectations and no standards at anniversaries (or maybe new year).

So you get a game that only is fun if you're up to date, otherwise you only get the jarring pain of realising how early content is bad, repetitive, unimaginative, and untouched in 8 years.

A game that only shines with their most recent event/unit, and everything before leaves a bad taste, is NOT a good game. The saving grace that has kept the ship from sinking is the Fate name.

JP players accept anything, NA players don't complain enough, so they never care how bad it is as long as the newest shiny servant makes them bank.

This game is basically a snake eating it's own tail, but at one point there's not gonna be any tail left to swallow and maybe at this point, FINALLY, they're gonna realize all the stupid decisions they've been taking over the years. (Like not revamping the early content, not balancing early units, stopping reruns alltogether, fucking up the rate-ups on banners, putting out more and more absurd OP servants that further make the early game bad and trivializes current content, forcing them to create fucked up 90++ quests, which in turn gives them ideas for other absurd OP servants...

Like I said, snake eating it's own tail :v)
