As expected, nothing happened. We'll simply have some more banners then jp. Nothing new since we already had more in few occasions.

People who seriously thought that something was gonna change doesn't seem to understand how those kind of things works.

Events can't be canceled and the only thing that can be changed is their schedule.

When I think on how often the FGO Twitter (or X) account mentioned that stream, I at least expected another game mechanic we'd get early or a big game announcement related to TypeMoon. Maybe some Samurai Remnant details...

All in all it was annoverly lenghty disappointment.

Was the lenght communcated beforehand? I only realized after Albert said something about 3-4 hours and the two Aniplex guys took over and showed US, what fun THEY had at the festival...

There was an expectation that something would happen given that it was overlapping with an anniversary stream (which is much more important than any stream NA could put out). The fact that they didn’t is disappointing, but nonetheless expected.

Everyone and their moms knew this year would be an Avalon summer event and got annoyed they are 105% right without any big reveals besides Tonelico (which is basically Summer Morgan coming outside the summer event).
