@Kelosine well, the Pokemon analogy is what I was going for, but it's just that I am not a fan of Mario/Zelda games and am annoyed that that's all they ever rely on, so my mind went to them lol I simply cannot enjoy BotW simply BECAUSE it's Zelda.
So on that note, it does apply here, if you thought of me as petty there, well, there ya go, it's the same with you and Saberfaces, it's your own personal issue just like with me and Zelda.
Setting aside all the hate, assuming you ask about gameplay... Yes, she is good. Not Castoria level broken but good. Unfortunately she's not the easiest servant to use, but definitely has her merits.
She's a Saberface so she's good I said.
Except for Nero, fck her.
She is good but as far as I've observed she's one of those characters where her demerit is a turnoff for people who dont have the stuff to counteract it. Except this demerit is one that seems to require either dupes or koyanskaya to counteract. And if to say you're an average gacha player, this might be something you might not be interested in on that basis alone.
I'm hugely not a fan of her design kitwise and that's separate from the saberface issue. Any servant that kitwise requires super high investment such as multiple servants (granted to some people you are expected to have them) and or more than your average dps np2/3 requirement is something I look down on.
Talking pure game-play here. Yes, from an objective stand-point she is "good." However, I still think she holds no real place in the game. For an aoe buster caster we already have Cu who can already easily 6CE and is free. For supports, due to her skill cooldown limitations she'd be rather niche all things considered, and still far and away from enablers such Castoria, Skadi(s), Koyan, and Oberon. So while I think she is GOOD, she simply doesn't fit any necessary roles. That's just my two cents, anyway.
I would have preferred 4 arts of morgan in swimsuit instead 3 castoria arts and 1 morgan but well... at least in gameplay it seems funThe 3rd skill's a usable, more reasonable version of Salome's "Dance of the Seven Veils" skill.
She looks like a strong support, especially for low HP gimmick servants but as a buster looper farmer she has pretty strong competition (gigachad Cu caster)
@Otakon7 (I haven't touched BoTW or it's successor simply because open worlds explode my mind, there's so much to do and so much freedom I genuinely don't know where to start, 1h of BoTW and all I could do was burn apples with a torch on repeat XD)
I did not put any intentions (petty or otherwise) behind your words, I was just explaining the possible reasoning behind the complains about the number of Saberfaces, working with your analogy. My bad if it sounded like I was reproching you anything.
TL;DR = I personally think Saberfaces are like a lot of things in this game, they're fine on their own as long as it's not too much too many.
What do you think?
