Servants with very powerful 3-turn OC would benefit from this. Otherwise, Black Grail still the best

BG for min-maxing.

Similar to Wizard Marshall that found its place when you capable to hit necessary damage but didn't have enough HP, for whatever reason, on top of coincidentally released with Cernunnos fight.

This one works better than BG if you're kind of players that can easily warrant usage of OC (read: whales) or simply players that always get the newest SSR available because newer DPS, especially SSR ones, clearly will prefer this CE than regular BG. Trung Sisters, Bazett, Charlemagne, Ruler Moriarty and Arcueid for example.

In their setup this CE arguably a superior pick, especially when facing something like Koyanskaya. Looks bad for simple reason of F2P wouldn't think of min-maxing stuffs with OC effect.

Tbh, I would probably roll for it just for the art if nothing else.

It's a better Heaven's feel for the first NP and that's about it for me imo

Looks decent for stuff like Ash and Hijikata solos if you aren't planning to use their NP's multiple times and it can also be good for farming with Seiba, Mordred and Lancer Tituria if they can't deal enough damage with Kscope.

This is technically the best CE for buster looping with Lancer Artoria, but only for her. For practically everyone else, it's just an inferior Black Grail.

Say, Kamavenger has that OC giving extra damage to charmed enemies. I’m not quite sure if either of the following setting will be better than the other (both CE each gives 2400 extra ATK at MLB):

1. MLB Black Grail: extra 80% NP damage.

2. Or, MLB Rising Mud Rain: extra 50% NP damage + 2 OC (300% NP battery meaning 175% extra damage to her charmed enemies). Mathematically speaking, 175% of 50% is like 0.5 x 1.75 = 0.875 = 87.5% > 80%, making this CE slightly superior to BG in this scenario (if the game mechanism follows this calculation). However, If she fails to charm the enemies for whatever the reason is (debuff success is low/the enemies’ debuff immunity), this CE will definitely be inferior to BG.

Skama's OC is a bad pair with this CE unless there is another way to Charm enemies without using Skama S2, which is usually saved for the biggest chunk of damage.

I would say this CE is good for DPSs with stackable OC effects, most likely NP Dmg up like Spishtar (but in her case, BG still wins). However, if the +2 OC doesnt add up to surpass BG + normal OC, then it's inferior to BG. And for OC effects such as Arts up or NP gain/regen, those would be irrelevant since Arts DPSs wont be lacking NP refund anyway, so at least for Arts DPSs, stackable NP Dmg OCs are the best pair with this CE - but it must be high enough to surpass BG. However, so far Spishtar NP is the best stackable OC at 40% NP dmg up when given +2, but it still loses to BG when paired with this CE.

What about other Arts DPSs with OC3 NP dmg up higher than that? Yes, Saber Hokusai, OG DVC, Ody all have theirs at 50%. BUT, they are all only for 1 turn.

My condolence in advance for those who got this instead of a 5th BG. Thank god they're not replacing BG with this, LS > DW .

@JoAlter nice analysis there, bro (and I completely agree with you on sKama’s charm effect thing; usually I’d save her 2nd skill until the 3rd wave where the enemies got a large chunk of HP for us to dish out damage on, while this CE forces us to have her use charm right off the bat to benefit from its 2+ OC bonus). Tho, u mentioning the possibility of “replacing BG with this CE” gave me a real shudder 😱. I was like, “No freaking way! I’d boycott Lasagna if they ever even thought about it.” Tbh, even without this new CE, these days I been gathering embers with sKama, Lady Avalon, Xu Fu & a friend’s Castoria. Like, I’d save Lady Avalon & Castoria’s NP until the last wave so that, together with Lady Avalon’s 2nd skill activated during the last turn, I could always easily do sKama’s NP at 400% NP battery giving considerably extra NP damage on the charmed enemy(ies) during that turn.

For now i am not finding any DPS with NP dmg up as OC who would benefit more from Mud Rain than BG. For example, Musashi currently has the highest NP dmg up %, 30% at OC1 and 60% at OC3, but

OC1 30% + mlb BG 80% = 110%

OC3 60% + mlb Mud Rain 50% = also 110%

So NP dmg up OC NPs and Mud Rain is most of the time, for me, inferior to my already MLB BG.
