@New Leaves Exactly, it's developed by the Japanese for a primarily Japanese audience. Whatever happens there will affect any other servers or materials.
@Otakon7 I can definitely see whales still spending even if a tidal wave that threatens to beach them looms on the horizon.
@COMPANY~K Considering how many non-Japanese speakers play JP, I could see the reverse happening, and that's hilarious to think about.
@Hellish hell Just a thought I've been having with LB7 coming up and seeing how so many other mobile games have ended.
Ultimately, I'm sure there will still be a few more parts to Cosmos after LB7 before it's wrapped up. A lot of potential for reruns and new collabs even if they take a long hiatus. I personally see a major Part 3 story coming after this too. I can't see FGO ending anytime soon with how much money it still makes and after DelightWorks just form a "new company". I'm sure it's still many years away barring anything calamitous.
Whatever happens, I just hope the whole story gets officially translated before the plug is pulled, and that all those assets don't go to waste. Make a collection of the story into a huge visual novel, or convert it into an offline RPG. Something. Don't just let it evaporate into the aether like so many others.
