Well, differentiating from primary supports, they gave us Koyanskaya, who can not only be used as a Support, but a pretty decent AOE Buster DPS (I suppose that applies for Oberon too, but I have no idea about who has the higher Damage Output).

Who knows, maybe they’ll give us the man himself Grigori Kotomine, who’s a self sufficient Quick Meta who can not only buff but Work as an amazing Quick DPS himself. While it’s only my Hopium, it’s a definite yes that they’re most likely bringing back the quick meta this anniversary.

When it comes to arts, I’m a little turned off by the play style. Which is unfortunate being my favourite characters are mostly arts cards. You see, when it comes to arts cards, one thinks of Castoria or Tamamo, Etc. I don’t like having to rely on a specific character to boost looping capabilities. It would be cool to have a self sufficient character for arts. While some arts characters have looping Solo potentials (Read: Dioscuri), there’s not enough of them. Which is why Castoria meta is so crucial to arts. This is also where our Quick Meta currently stands as well too.

At least for Buster, we have characters like Hunkin’ Muscle Super Orion, who’s self sufficient enough to not have to rely on Koyanaskaya or Castoria to be a solid unit. We need more people like him.

Then again, this is only my opinion. Feel free to correct or disagree with me.

Extra card supremecy when.

@Æxelotl Well, if you talk about maximizing potential, yes, arts rely on Castoria (and Tamamo), but the same can be said for the other two: buster relies on Vitch/Merlin, quick on Skadi. There are solo units for each card type and they are kinda outside of the whole thing. You mentioned Dioscuri, I'd add Mordred Rider, Lolivinci, Artoria Archer and Mothman. They were all great loopers/ self-sustaining Servants well before Castoria. Heck, even Muramasa can sustain himself. Of course, all of them are better with a support, but even Super Orion is actually better if you sandwich him between two Merlin (yes, I know what I'm talking about, I do 80% of the CQs with the man, he's grailed and gold foued).

I'd also argue that arts has good variety of full supports at lower tiers, with Lanling, CasGil, Paracelsus, you can build a lot around those servants, have fun differentiating and still be pretty effective.

I think the next quick support unit will be a stall-oriented one rather than farm-oriented. What I would really like to see is stronger command card manipulation.

If we talking about gameplay standpoints, its about time for new Quick support and seeing in the last 6 months they have been releasing many excellent quick servants, it can't get any better than that. I also want to point out an underrated problem with Quick Team right now, they produced unnecessary amount of stars. Sure, quick servants are supposed to produce lot of stars, but there will be time you produce more than 50 stars. seeing those numbers sometimes I feel amazed, but then come realization this is useless knowing those stars will be gone to trash and not properly used. Some servants can use some of that stars for their skills (Moriarty & Semiramis, maybe there are more?) but even then those situation are rarely needed for quick teams. So from that problem I have an idea for the next quick support,

A Quick Support servant with crit stars economy managing mechanic.

The idea is this servant encourage & help the team to produce many amount of stars to get benefit from it but also not letting any excessive amount of stars get wasted. Imagine this servant have Calamity Jane 3rd skills on massive scale affecting the whole team and what if this servant have 50% np charge and will charge even more by consuming those excessive stars. Boom now you have another 50+ NP charger and it exclusive for Quick team.

Also with this servant released you could say it also gonna totally differentiate how Quick played in Skadi era, just like castoria & koyanskaya with their respective card meta. Arts make you think the np refund to use your np back to back, Buster make you think how to arrange your skills activation so you can decrease the cooldown & loop np, This Neo Quick will make you think what is the best way to produce stars to loop even more np
