I agree that they were more like Water type trainers. And... Yeah, about the competitive side, can't say much, since I barely know about competitive Pokemon at all. Considering that all I know is they pretty much chose Pokemon who 1 hit ko everyone and shit that I don't understand.

I know that hands are quite difficult to draw, but dang. Those 3 finger hands are trippin me out.

They'd probably be some sort of "tag battle" type of gym leader.

The kind that players don't see anymore since Fu and Lan from Hoenn.

In that case, they'd probably use water type Pokémon. Since it goes with their theme here.

Since they were designed by Take, I'd expect them to use the kinds of stuff Suiren and Rurina uses. σ(￣、￣〃)

Each of them might have a legendary Pokemon or we will finally get a water-type pseudo-legendary one. If nothing else let's give them a Blastoise.

Honestly, I imagine them throwing a Kyogre if they ended up using legendaries. But I dunno.

I agree that there should be a water elephant Pokémon. Don’t see why they’d use starters/legends as those usually end up with the important characters like MCs, Antagonists and sometimes the Professors if we go mainly by the format of Pokémon Masters/details on the core games. Maybe 1 water psychic each to fit in with their 3rd ascension. They could possible have a mega, my reasoning being that the mega representing their ascensions.
