@Iczer9 I agree with you. Personally, I really like and enjoying this game too. Not to mention TFW I can finish CQ or Hard Fights with only 3* Servants or lower and seeing people struggling with the CQ, even though they use Big Support Caster servants.

@Kiyo number one how do you know @Iczer9 is convincing themself that this game is “fun?” And how come you think this game isn’t fun?

@Kiyo number one Fair enough question, and aside from the copium comment, I appreciate you owning your personal experience rather than externalizing it. One reason I have the patience is as @Iczer9 says and that’s because part of me finds it legitimately fun to farm this much. I enjoy building up a team and tweaking my strategies little by little until I can be as optimal as possible with the units I have. Doing so is satisfying to me. Another is that my attention is split between farming and watching videos or livestreams haha, with some of those streams being farming streams. Parasocially, it feels like a communal effort and I feel excited to push for higher results as our farming is socially facilitated. Competitive or supportive, It’s fun for me.

But honestly, I can see where you’re coming from about farming being boring even if I can’t personally relate. It takes a lot of time, and If it’s not fun to you, that’s just it I suppose. You’re not lazy, you just have different priorities/preferences. (That being said, if you want to fully ascend nightingale, you might wanna farm at least 10 boxes. Her ascension mats are in there iirc haha)

I have been farming, lol, and i do have a fully ascended nightingale. I guess this game for me just doesnt have the same spark it did when i started playing. But its one of those things where youre too far in to quit.

@Kiyo number one its one thing to say it’s boring which I get it because farming in general is a very tedious task but projecting that on to others isn’t the way to express your opinion of the game. Especially if you start accusing people who do enjoy the game that they are somehow “convincing themselves to like it.” Which is a big generalization

If anything, if you said “FGO is has become boring to me as of late because of the tedious farming,” then yes, I would agree with you there. But you just blatantly said “FGO is boring.” And when someone else said it was fun, you then accused them of “convincing themselves of liking it.”

Not trying to debate with you man but like I see the fallacy in those statements.

@Prowess0 i dont think you know me well enough to tell when i am and when i am obviously not serious. I thought it was an obvious enough shitpost by saying “copium”, but i guess not? Is copium supposed to be used in a serious sense because to my understanding, its mostly used as a joke, and trying to point out a fallacy in something that is meant tobe erroneous is kind of redundant.

@Kiyo number one First, nobody knows you on a personal level, at least in this online community, other than your online profile. And no it didn’t look like a shitpost at all. Second, I don’t even know what Copium is so not everyone is going to be in the loop of what you consider a shitpost or what you consider is “obviously a joke” or not.

When you get criticism your handling it pretty poorly.

There’s nothing redundant about pointing out a fallacy in a statement you made that was supposed to be a “joke.” Nobody got your joke, and you got criticism over it and now your doubling down on it instead of just owning up to it. You blatantly said the game was boring and then when someone said something different you accused them of making themselves believing the game was good. Where exactly is the joke?

At the end of the day man you do you but your making yourself look bad if you can’t even take criticism like this.

@Kiyo number one As a zoomer I can only see older players as boomers and even older ones as dinosaurs 😊 But like I implied, the passage of time will equalize us all eventually. Sadgetarius 😔
